Melody, still silent, looked over towards Clyde, who was sitting by the fire and playing around with the rabbit skins, tossing them up in the air like pizza dough. "What's this about an underwater base?" Garviel asked. "I found one with my scanner, we're gonna head down there after dinner," said CC. "Come on over here!" Clyde yelled to them. Everyone walked over to the fire and sat down. "So, this base..." John began. "Is it human or alien?" "Well, there's submarines down there, and I would think aliens are too sophisticated for our technology. It must be human," said CC. "Who's to say it's not a trap for survivors like us?" Melody asked. "I doubt it, Mel," said Sam. The group started eating rapidly, they were so interested in what would be down there. What would become of their lives if this was some hideout for survivors? Would Bob and Zach ever find them? And what about Adam? Would he discover them? Was he even tracking them? These are questions they wish they could answer, but couldn't.

Bob Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Bob sat in a meeting room along with a few high Generals, a few of the President of the United States' Cabinet, and President Rawlings himself. "Coming here was risky. How do we even know that the other world leaders will show up?" Secretary of State Freedman said. "We lost the Vice-President on the way here, I should hope he didn't sacrifice himself, and then the others don't show." The President said. A soldier ran into the room. He saluted. "Sir, leaders from France, Canada, Germany, England, and Russia have all arrived." he said. "Any news from any others?" the President asked. "We have reports that Chinese, Mexican, and Spanish leaders are on the way as well." "I will go out and meet them." Bob said, as he got up. "Wait a minute." Secretary of the Army Jackson started to say. "Who are you?" he asked. "Surely you know Bob, it is because of him the Phantoms and Robots are gone! He's a hero!" A General said. "Bob Willians? I remember you, we worked on the shut off switch together." the President said. "Yes, but it wasn't all me that vanquished the robots away. It was the efforts of a few others. One of them is still in the med-bay. I haven't got a clue where the others ran off to." Bob said. "I'll send someone else out to go meet the leaders, please go see your friend in the medical station." the President said. "Thank you sir." Bob said, as he left. Bob started to long walk to the hospital, off to check up on the progress of his friend. I will be leaving the team and the game to be a General in the United States Army. I'll add a few more posts, but I won't kill myself so that I can make cameo appearances I guess. Thoughts for what the World Leaders should come up with? I was thinking a United Earth.

And what is up with that suit you are wearing it looks similar to my building apron? Here I'll show you to the rest of the group." Said C.C.
Adam Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Exactly one mile below Bob, security guard Jamie Pase sat, bored, in his chair, staring out of the bulletproof glass into the room beyond. At first, when he had taken this job, there had been some level of urgency and excitement. Not now. The prisoner hadn't so much as blinked for two weeks. Of course, any muscle movement whatsoever - if he still had muscles - would trigger the the highly dangerous cables attached to him into action. VITALS ARE NORMAL. NO MUSCLE MOVEMENT DETECTED, the computer said once again. Uh huh. Thanks for telling me what I already know. Like his vitals would be any different from yesterday, or the day before, or the day before that. Why put the guy in a maximum security cell, hundreds of miles below sea level, if he wasn't even going to move? Jamie glanced at the prisoner again. That's it, he thought. It's time for something to happen. He typed in a code and pushed "EXECUTE." Immediately, an electric charge was sent through the cables, filling the adjacent room with a flash of blue light. But Adam still hung, motionless, from the chains.

"Oh sorry I wasn't listening." Said Joe. "If you ever want me to enhance that suit of yours I'd be willing to do it! Want me to show you some of my previous inventions?" Said C.C. "Um sure but I'm not sure about you upgrading my suit I can't really trust you to work with something that helps me to live since you're a stranger and all but show me some of your inventions." Said Joe "Tools" Said C.C. "Umm excuse me?" Said Joe. Joe slightly jumped at the sight of four mechanical arms sliding out of C.C's backpack. "Wow you made those? How old are you?" Said Joe. "Yes and 16" Said C.C. "Oh let me show you my favorite creation and possibly my pet." The arms retracted and C.C pulled the C-bug out of his backpack. The Bug bean to crawl down C.C's arm and jumped onto Joe. "Don't be scared I made him too well most of him anyway he partially made himself." Said C.C. "If you want he could possibly read the function codes of your suit and possibly try to find out where you have been." C.C said scratching his head. Joe then noticed his mechanical hands." Umm okay! Sure." Said Joe.

A small shark sped past chasing a small shoal of fish. It's good some things survived. He thought, continuing to Zach's room. It was a grim sight. He was pale, even with all the blood being pumped into him. Pipes and wires extruded from various places. Bob's men were not specialised for this sort of injury. The Robo-Doc was destroyed when the core was. Atleast Zach was breathing... --- Clyde kept watch as the team slept under their blankets. Jack patrolled the area, keeping an eye out for C.C. "Where is he?" he looked round and shouted "CHRIS?" There was no reply. Then some bushes rustled. Jack tensed up and turned his head slowly. He thermo-visioned the shrubs and saw two human figures. Could this be C.C's kiddnappers? Inside his head he activated his robotic arm, which morphed into a blaster. He aimed and it whirred in response. He fired at the tree behind the figures, which set alight. He heard a scream. "Scared you did I?!" he asked, laughing "You wanna mess with this robot? Bring it on you midget....earthworms!" "Hey! We were trying to scare you!" "Chris? You moron! What were you playing at?! I could have shot you! Who is that with you?!" "This is Joe. Don't worry. He is not an alien, robot or bandit." "I see. Come back to the camp. I think you better meet the rest of us. They're sleeping, so hush hush!" Jack signalled to Clyde, who vapourised and appeared next to Joe. "Hello friend? How are you?" "GAH! What is this?!" cried Joe "He's one of us. A reformed Rogue." "What the hell is a Rogue?" "We'll explain later." They got back to the camp. Jack started pointing at the sleeping members, saying their names. "Is there a group leader?" asked Joe C.C frowned, and Jack looked away. "He...saved us back in a Robot base." said Clyde "Oh... I wondered what happened to the robots. Where is this leader?" "Wadd'ya think? He is dead!" Jack said angrily "Ah. Sorry." --- Bob stood at Zach's window, tapping his fingers on the glass. A soldier entered and saluted. "Sir. We have spotted something on the cliffs. A fire, caused by what, we don't know." "I'll come and have a look. Thanks Johnny." Bob rushed out, looking back at Zach as he did so. When he finally reached the control room, he could make out a forest, and one of trees was on fire. He frowned. "When did it start?" "Around five minutes ago." "Any life forms?" "No sir." "I wonder if...no. I couldn't be." I figured I'd take advantage of my chance here to get it fixed by another "techy"," he said. "Interesting... sounds like we've all had our misadventures, hmm?" she asked. "Well, I'll leave you two to your technology-business. I'd help if I had the knowledge, but I guess I'm not that kind of girl." And with that, she stalked off to go annoy someone else. "Erm... she is...?" "Crazy... I mean Melody! Her name's Melody..." said CC. "Ah... Uh-huh. I see what you mean about the 'crazy' part." --- "MARK! GET OVER HERE!" "What now, Garviel?" he said, rolling his eyes as he walked over to him. "Wha-Wha-What is this oil can doing in MY bag?!" Mark paused for a second. "What?" he asked, and then it hit him. "YG-49!" "Yes, Mr. Nickstill." YG-49 toned as he suddenly appeared at Mark's side. "Why did you put you're oil can in Garviel's bag?" "Because you told me to put it ther-" Mark quickly turned off YG-49 and grinned guiltily. "Eh-heh-heh, uh, you know robots, always saying the craziest things..." "Uh-huh," said Garviel. "As I was saying there is a strange firewall that has never been seen before! This is going to drive me crazy trying to figure out the code!" Said C.C. "well finish my suit first." Said Joe. "Okay.. Want me to add any new functions?" Said C.C. "If so what kind? Your suit is almost back to normal and I've installed an auto repair function so it can fix itself." "Cool! Add anything that you think is best." Said Joe. "Okay how about a fold out wrist rocket, a retractable shoulder light and infinite power generator just in case we need to fuel something." Said C.C. "Infinite power generator?" Said Joe. "You would not believe how much new technology is in one alien drone data bank!" Said C.C. Joe opened his mouth to ask another question but decided not to.

Joe began, but CC immediately interupted him. "Whatever it is, it's best we don't get involved," CC said, not looking up from what he was doing. Rodriego came running back with Melody's jacket dragging behind him as he bit into the sleeve. "Stupid little rat! Come back here!" she shouted running out in her blood-stained white t-shirt. "He's not a rat, he's a ferret, and you better not lay a hand on him," said CC, still not looking up from the suit. Rodriego ran into some bushes, taking the jacket with him. "Your ra-excuse me, ferret, stole my jacket!" "I don't really care right now, Mel. I've got work to do, plus, you can always get a new one," said CC, finally giving her the satisfaction of looking up, noticing the stained shirt. "Our clothes could all use a wash, I guess. Maybe if we ever get to that base Bob and Zach are at they'll have some washing machines, and maybe even some stain remover," he said, laughing. She stared at him blankly. "What?" CC asked, still grinning. "You're not worried about Zach?" she asked. "No, I'm sure he's fine. I've been around him a lot longer than you, and you can get to know him pretty personally if you just ask. It takes a lot of pain to get to him," said CC. "Yeah..." she said, staring at her shoes. "You mind? You're blocking the last of the sunlight," said Joe. "Huh? Oh, yeah, sorry," she said, and walked off again. --- "Darn it, YG-49, you almost got me killed!" Mark said, and turned YG-49 on. The robot sat up, and lights turned on all over the mechanical body. "You're just lucky that you didn't finish that sentence," Mark told the robot, winking.

"But of course, you are the man who developed the idea for the auto-defence robots, the ones who had been attacking all of our troops and killing countless civilians." The Canadian Prime Minister said. "Yes, but I also managed to shut them all down, along with killing all the phantoms, and with the help of a few others, destroying the second-generation robots." Bob said. "Your achievements outweigh the bad acts that you have performed." the British Prime Minister said. "Thank you." Bob said. "Yes well, if you are done questioning the future Major General of the United States Army, I would like to get down to business." The U.S. President said. "Very well." said the Russian President. The turn out was much larger than expected. About fifty of the remaining countries showed up. Of the 150 countries from the start of the war, these were the only ones who survived. They all wanted to negotiate peace, and combine efforts to rid themselves of the aliens. Bob, however, was not thinking about the talks, he was thinking about his friends. His acceptance into the army, and promotion was sudden. He'd have to leave the rest of the team, though. Bob got up and stepped out of the room. There were some curious looks from a few of the others, but he didn't care. Bob sent for a messenger, he'd ask the others to join him at the base, which is currently the most secure area in the world. He then told them that if they declined, then he would have to remain here, and not rejoin them. He looked out the window, and thought over his options. Like I hinted even in the atomic bomb post in chapter two, I will be "quitting". You can include me, if you're ever in trouble, but don't kill off my character. Oh, and wondering what happened to my dog from the first chapter? More will be explained in my next post, and probably the final one. I might have neglected to mention that all the robot's that we've been fighting have been from my company.

I don't even know where they are! I could go up there and see what is there. It certainly looks like them...but we left them all over 100 miles away, with just a truck. Dammit I should have been more protective! If I had got there more quickly, Zach would never be on life support. Maybe when I know for sure it is them, biut right now my job is looking after the leaders. Duty first... but who to? On the other side of the Underwater Base... Adam smiled and Jamie glared at him. I wish I could get in there and rip out your throat, if you were not so dangerous as they make out. Jamie thought. Apparently this guy was Alien, robot and human. Messed up mutant! The time will come... ---- "Rise and shine!" shouted Jack, kicking sleeping Marcus. He grunted in response. The others started stirring and rubbing their eyes. Melody looked appaled, dropped the jacket, and hurried off towards Mark and Garviel, who were cleaning up. "Good boy! Yes, that's a very good ferret! Wuzzy! Wuzzy!" Chris grinned at Rodriego, who then scurried off to his backpack. --- "Garviel, hurry up! This train is leaving right now, whether you're on it or not!" Joe yelled back. "Coming!" Garviel called after them. --- The group began making their way along the cliffside. Mark got up next to Joe. "You know, you seem pretty intelligent, but why'd you bother joining us?" "You people seem somewhat trustworthy, and I have nowhere left to go. If I can find a new home, even if it's constantly moving, I'm happy," Joe replied. "Huh. That's a nice thing to say," said Mark, who smiled at him, then he rubbed his eyes, and yawned.

C.C was in the middle of the group next to melody and Eskallon. "why are you so fond of that rat ferret anyway? I don't like him at all." Said Melody obviously grumpy from lack of sleep. C.C suddenly had a flashback that only lasted a few seconds but to him it seemed like days. C.C just stood there with a blank stare for about 40 seconds. "It's a long story.." Said C.C. after Eskallon snapped him out of it by shaking him. "Those are the best kind!" Said Joe. "We have a lot of time." "Oh fine I'll tell you but I wont like it and you might hear more than you bargained for." Said C.C. "In the year 2012 everyone on earth was completely freaking out about the world ending and everything because of the predictions of the mayan Indian's or something weird like that." Said C.C. "Wait 2012? What the heck are you talking about?!?!" Said Melody. "Let me explain." Said C.C. "I was the volunteered assistant to a incredible scientist named Dr. Sparks. My hands were ruined in a lab accident so He helped me build these." Said C.C holding up his mechanical hands. "He was building a wormhole generator that could teleport people through time and space. He was going to use it to find out if the world would really end in December. The invention worked perfectly except for one thing. He forgot to give me all the details about it. Me and him were the only people on earth to know about this invention and even though I was only 16 he trusted me with building it. He activated it to show different periods of time in which people thought the world would end so he gave me a special device that would allow me to make the wormhole forwards in time but we couldn't see the past. But little did I know that the wormhole had its own gravitational pull. When he set it 25 years into the future to see if the world was in chaos yet it sucked me into the portal with the wormholes gravitational pull and it sucked me into his lab 25 years into the future. I looked around at the insanely high tech laboratory I saw an older version of myself but he couldn't see me and when I looked at myself I seemed slightly transparent. Even though I was in the future I hadn't aged at all. Then I looked over at him messing around with a crate labeled "S.C.R.A" then the box opened and a cloud of tiny robots swarmed into the walls controlling everything in the lab. Everything was swinging around rapidly and everything was breaking then one tool flew across the room and went through me like I wasn't there! and when I looked over at my older self I saw something swing around and hit him and then something else hit him I thought "Why do these robots hate future me so much?" then something fell from the ceiling and smashed him. Suddenly I was no longer transparent." Said C.C A traumatised look on his face. "The scariest thing I ever saw was my own death." Said C.C. "While I was in panic I pressed the button on the time travel device several times until I eventually ended up in this time. Whenever I got here I heard something crawling around in my backpack and when I reached into my backpack I found that Rodriego crawled into my backpack when I wasn'y looking. He is the only member of my family left alive so i try to take good care of him. Afterwards I tried to fix the time machine beause I found that nothing was left of earth other than a wasteland but found that the fuel needed to power the time machine was nowhere left on earth. I was about to go forwards in time again but realised that the end of the world was coming and I might be able to save what's left." Said C.C. "You are so full of crap!" Said Melody. C.C reached into his pocket and took out a folded piece of paper and handed it to her. Melody unfolded it it was Chris's birth certificate. "Christopher. A. Cox born June 14 1996" Read Melody's expression changed to a frown when she read this new found information.

( )" said C.C "Melody, come here and help get this stuff out the truck." called Jack, removing three bags of clothes from the storage area. "Hey! Be careful with those!" she shouted, and ran to him. "Are these..all yours?!" "Have you ever met a girl before?" she asked, snatching the bags and turning away quickly. Her hair swept round and went over Jacks face. He frowned and shook his head, and continued unloading. Then he found something. Several swimming suits and breathing appartatus. Thats weird. We never had any of these... Ah well, I'm using them. He strode over to the tent and burst in throwing the suits on the floor. Melody screamed. Shit. Jack ran out, dodging a slipper aimed for his face. "Hey, Garviel! "What are you doing" asked Sam "Oh no, don't!!" shouted John "SHIT!!" bellowed Eskallon as Melody jumped off the the cliff "It's ok, Im fine, your like my father Eskallon" shouted Melody from below "I get worried " said Eskallon "Ok lets all jump, 1, 2 ,3!!!!" shouted Sam Just then they all jumped and safely landed in the water. "Ok well lets go further down" said Melody ------------------------------------------------------ Back at the underwater base: "Send in the mini subs" said the ship commander "But what if they are mutants" asked a woman called Lucy "Just have them board the subs and take them to Bob" replied the shp commander
