Hello everyone,

I am now very pleased to announce the voting results for this year, Classic-Town.net & Eurobricks, first ever exciting contest, "Re-discover the bustling streets of Classic Town Contest", members' category is over! It has been a great time, viewing all of these magnificent entries, which made voting much harder and tougher for us to decide, as everyone of us viewed Classic Town differently. And, now these are the EBCTC members' whom have achieved the top 3 position in this contest.

Congratulations (gefeliciteerd) koffiemoc and all the others for great entries...

PS: from the voting thread I had the impression that it the top scores were really close. Unlike one of the Otters :wink: I didn't bother to add them up myself though... are the scores going to be disclosed somewhere?

Is this the end of the current EBCTC?

Thanks for running such a great competition. I really had a blast! On the weekend I was working on my entry I had just got the early Venice Chase and City summer sets, but I was too focused on finishing the contest entry to build them! (Apart from breaking out the fezes :grin:) If that's not a testimonial to a really fun contest, I don't know what is! :laugh:

Congrats to the other winners for their sterling work and for everyone who participated - there were some really great ideas at play!

Wow, I cant believe I actually won something! It was fun to build something so different from what I normally do...

Sorry for not voting, I didn't know who to vote for so I thought I'll vote later... and then I was too late.

And many thanks to WhiteFang for organising this contest, it was great fun planning and building and all.

Well, now i feel really in debt, like I owe you more classic town mocs (contest or no contest),

but first I've got some other plans like a sailing vessel and a trial truck. *huh*

To the participants & the community,

I really really had an enjoyable time, organising this contest for you guys, and more importantly, it was your creativity and imagination that showcase Classic Town from a very different perspective. This contest have indeed featured many excellent entries, and personally I think this is one of the toughest contest ever. I had a very hard time, deciding my votes, and I am sure our fellow EB Community feel the same way as I do. All entries are really outstanding and unique. :thumbup:

Let's "Start Classic" and "Stay Classic". :wink:

Regrettably I didn't win a prize. :cry_sad: Nevertheless it was much fun to build my entry and I'm looking forward for the next great City contest! :wink:
