But I still have this question: Does anyone know if (and if so: how) it is possible to explore Hogwarts (after completing the story-line) with characters other than Harry, Ron and Hermione?

Well the dark wizzard will destroy the dark ball, and you will get a red brick, and you can post it. You will also get Mad eye moody. There will be no stairs. It's just the dragon. He should blow you up.

Well, 93.6% complete, 5.5 billion studs, 2 red bricks left, 11 gold bricks left, 4 students in peril left and some characters and I'm going to have to restart.

They cannot release a patch to solve the problem if there's no game data installed on the console, can they? I might wait a while to see if a solution can be found. I've had my fill of it for now.

yeah, you just have to jump up him, in my first playtrough, he blew me back. The second time in a new save, he blewed me up. But i did destroy everything there. But i think that will note make any difference, he just should blow you up. Because maby you will go there, and you don't have a dark character.

It is just a character (Moody), a red brick and a gold brick (from the student in peril) in the room, isn't it? So if you check your stats and see you have only these left before going in, you know you'll be safe and won't need to try to get out again.

No, there isn't a student in peril there. There are, one gold brick, one red brick, one character(mad eye-moody. When i had 96%, i just couldn't wait to get there, so i goed there, and this time, the dragon blew me up. I had a dark character.

Well, I've finished the story-line now. I'm going to get a dark character first, then I'm off to explore Hogwarts ^^

After that I'll re-do all the levels in Free Play.

Oh, right. Sorry for the confusion. I thought there was a gold brick, but I couldn't remember how you got it.

Tom Riddle's probably the easiest dark character to get first. That's who I got.

I think it's the Basilisk level, actually. If you go to the noticeboard in the Leaky Cauldron, you can see the silhouettes of the characters in each level. If you can recognise their hairstyles, you should be able to find where abouts each character is.

Oh, yes. I got him second. Just use him then.

The easiest one is Barty Crounch Jr. Go to the first level from book four, with all the death eaters. Then save all the people, when Harry is left, you will go to a new area, in left below corner, there will be a basket/box where you must spell reducto on, you'll get him.

Got the game yesterday, absolutely love it. The spells, the layout, the new way you collect minifigures, all of it!

Just one thing that struck me. When you buy spells from Diagon Ally, where abouts do they go on your spell wheel? I should try it out for myself, but I made a promise to myself not to get side tracked and buy loads before I finish the storyline.

All but Accio go in the red part of the spell wheel (top) as they are general attack spells. It just runs through the list of spells and then restarts and does it again and again, so you have to wait a while if you buy all of them and want to use a specific spell. On my glitched game, I bought them all last, so I didn't have much use for them, but I tried them out on Hermione in the shop and it was still fun.

Accio goes in the pink part of the wheel so you can pull in ingredients from far away.

Speaking of which; Just out of curiosity ADHO15, how far did you manage to get in your new game so far?

I'm at 80% already, which is already more than when I deleted my glitched game (which was about 70%)

Nothing too serious, but I'm not impressed!

I'm not a big fan of HP so I wasn't really sure who some people were and what some things where but I still enjoyed it!

At the moment I am on the first level from the third book/movie and have decided not to buy any extras or characters until I complete the story.

Parvarti Patil – There are four blue books in the DAtDA second classroom, that you have to shoot. Shoot all four for the token to appear.

Draco Malfoy – Four Pixies are holding some pendulums in the DAtDA pendulum room. Hit all four with Immobilus to get the token to appear.

Professor Quirrell – On the bottom level of the pendulum room, it will be right by the exit.

I don't know where Nick is, I'm afraid.

Thanks, flitwick. I found them all this morning when I had another look around the castle. I hadn't discovered the pixie room.

Nearly Headless Nick is in Dumbledore's office at the right. Spell the memories on the rack to put them in the pensieve and he will appear.

I'm on 98.8 percent now and only have one gold brick to go. The indicator marks it as being in the Restricted Section of the Library, but I can't see how to get it. I've done everything in the room (even herded all the loose books into a big pile) and still nothing's happened. Can anyone help?

PQ: Where is the pendulum room?

Also, what albility to destory/unlock the shing locks/stuff?
