I agree with you there. Those extra characters were made for the cut-scenes, so why not make them playable? :sceptic:

Theres always been missing characters in Lego games.

The first had that Gran racer, Mawahic? Boss Nass, his Gungan aids, Watto, Zam, Dexter.

The second had the Cantina Bith band, Ponda Baba, Dr. Evans, old guy with the beard at the end of IV.

Complete Saga fixed most of these, but still had some missing.

Can't comment on the Indy games, never bought them.

Batman got all his cutscene characters, it's just they were every member of the henchmen spectrum. Oh, and too many civilians.

Lego Harry Potter had a great cast all right. Maybe Freinze will appear as playable with Morgan and Bane in an OotP level.

Help!!! :sing:

Okay, so basically, today I was playing Lego HP (it's an amazing game, btw) and had just got Griphook. I left the Leaky Cauldron and went back to Hogwarts, arriving in a courtyard. But no matter what I do, when I go through each of the exits from the courtyard, the game freezes on the loading screen. Like the screen stays black and music keeps playing. I'm very confused. I had survived the dungeon of doom in Flitwick's classroom, is this the glitch? :cry_sad: I don't want to have to start the game over!

Thanks in advance!

Any word on how to get into (and more importantly, back out of) the basement of doom in the classroom? And will there be a years 5-7?

Thanks!

You can't, you have to start again, if you goed into the wingardium leviosa class. If you goed into the lumos class, i don't know.

Yes there will be years 5-7, and there will be the complete story's. There isn't any official announcements, but the first game sold 2.7 milion copies worldwide, so why not making more money!

Ow, i think you need to start again, because the game has ALOT of glitches, and i mean ALOT. I had the glitch with the first lesson room, i needed to start over again too.

:cry_sad: *sigh* Okay. Thanks for the help anyway.

That's a shame for Wii users. After plying TFU on the Wii, I bought a PS3 and got that version which was much better. It must be better to play HP too, so I recommend you save up for a PS3 instead of a Wii FilmGirl27!

I just completed the first mission of PoA, and I must say Hogwarts Express in new LEGO form is delightful!

I know!

I wish that the Hogwarts Express in the game was the official set...

But it's not :hmpf_bad:

So you still can't get out the dungeon? (I have a PS3 version)

Just so I know whether to go in or not!

Nope. Still not.

Make sure it's the very last thing you do, just to be sure. Complete all the story and bonus levels and fully explore the rest of Hogwarts. You should maybe back up your game before you go in as well. :classic:

All fear the Basement of Doom! :oh:

Was that on your first game or a retry?

The dragon works fine every time on my second game. It must just be a first-time glitch.

I had that problem too, but after replaying a few of the story levels and getting some characters, Hogwarts started working normally again.

I contacted 'Prima Games' (publisher of all the LEGO game guides) to ask if they had a guide for LEGO Harry Potter in the works and apparently no such guide is planned...

I wonder what happened... They've made every single LEGO game guide till LEGO Indiana Jones 2...

Anyway, it's really too bad. Such a guide would really be welcome, wouldn't it? ;)

There will be a guide for Lego Star Wars III. I think because of the rights. Because you will have a NEW Harry Potter book. Anyway. I don't understand why there is an guide for these games. They are plain simple.

Agreed, the games are plain simple.

Until you want to find every single secret to finish the game 100% that is.

It might've been easy in previous LEGO titles, but it sure ain't easy in this one. You could search for hours for the last fragment of an Hogwarts emblem without a guide.

I just played 'Face of the Enemy' on Freeplay mode, and for some reason all characters with black legs and hips had white legs and black hips instead. Then when I played another level on Freeplay it corrected itself!

This game is a bit messed up!

Okay, have you tried looking for a guide online? Tons of nerds people post them when they finish the game.

Hehe, you're right. I'm sure there are already loads of guides online.

Still, a actual book would be cool to have handy while you're playing the game.Plus, Prima guides are very nicey done with cool artwork and stuff.

Oh well. Online guides will nicely do the trick, if needed.

(Still curious about the reason why LEGO HP is the first game not to be guided by Prima though)

I've completed the game on 100% in just 24 hours.

Does anyone know why the HUD's studcount is sometimes divided between the two players and sometimes joined? I don't remember noticing that in the other LEGO games...
