Oky Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Anyway on a side note, who likes my thing in my sig. That's what she said. But yes, it's a nice image. Where'd you get it? Quote
Eskallon Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I got it off the official game website in the download section. Here is a link. Quote
FilmGirl27 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I'm really hyped for this game! I don't really mind about the shortage of actual LEGO in the environment, seen as the graphics are so good. The thing I don't like is that the minifigs are still in the same cartoony style, so they don't exactly fit in. Still, that's a small complaint. Does anyone know the games release date for Ireland/UK? I got it off the official game website in the download section. Here is a link. Cool pictures! That Hermione one is bagsi mine! Quote

FilmGirl27 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 28th of May according to GAME. Cool, thanks. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) Rats! I heard it was coming out on the 2nd, three days before my birthday, and this annoying. The characters don't seem too cartoony to me, but maybe I've just been around too many Atlantis and CW sets. Also, I have a theory about the enviornment. In all of the previous games, you can smash stuff until here's barely any Lego left. My theory is that because these are early images, they haven't added in any important and/or smashable props. If you look under the staircase in this video you can see what I think is Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, but they seem odd... just standing there, looking at the wall: Edited March 9, 2010 by indianajones Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Founded this video, i didn't see it before: Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I'm pretty sure there was a link a few pages back, though the video was made by a different person. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) New stuff. yay? http://www.game-hub.co.uk/482/microsoft/le...-potter-preview Edited March 16, 2010 by indianajones Quote

not-in-use-anymore Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 That's what I don't like about videogame sites, they just repeat things over and over. Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Yeah, but thanks for the artical anyway! Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Will the new designs appear in the game? I actually do think they could because we haven't seen anything final from 3-4, and those are what the sets are supposed to be based off of.(if they aren't used, then if/when they make another game they'll most likely use those designs) Quote
Oky Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Do you mean the set or the minifigs? Either way, my answer is no. Dobby is tan, and Ron and Malfoy have the old hair. The sets will probably not be in the game since those are totally underscaled, and most locations aren't even Lego in the game anyway. Quote
FilmGirl27 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Yeah, I agree with "Oky Wan Kenobi". We'll probably see the new minifigs in a Years 5-7 game (if thats made). I'm really interested to see how they LEGO-fy the cutscenes! Some will be really hard to lighten up (I'm looking at you, Goblet of Fire ending) Quote
Oky Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Maybe Cedric will just fall apart when he is hit by the curse, just like all figs do when they die in Lego games. "Avada Disassemble-a!" Quote
FilmGirl27 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Maybe Cedric will just fall apart when he is hit by the curse, just like all figs do when they die in Lego games. "Avada Disassemble-a!" Lol, that would so make my day! Especially if they made Cedric resemble a certain other character played by his actor. Quote
CMP Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I bet the 7th one has 2 parts, to match the movie, and to cover the fact that the second game only has 3 movies. Quote
Sisco Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I don't know if this is new or not, but here's the first cutscene of the game: Quote
CF Mitch Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Haha, that was hilarious Thanks for posting it I love how Dumbledore thought the black cat was McGonnagal, but really wasn't. I fell for it too though So I guess the first level will be with Harry and Hagrid, right. Somewhere in Diagon Alley perhaps Regards, CF W Quote
Eskallon Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I think it will start off at the zoo with the snake. This would be like a tutorial level to show you how to grasp the basics. Quote
awesomebrick Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I think it will start off at the zoo with the snake. This would be like a tutorial level to show you how to grasp the basics. Yeah probably I'm really looking forward to this game I can't wait to play Goblet of fire in this just plain awesome Quote
Oky Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I think it will start off at the zoo with the snake. This would be like a tutorial level to show you how to grasp the basics. You mean the part of the book where harry realizes he can talk with snakes? I seriously doubt that. The cutscene that was just posted again for like the fifth time has been confirmed to be the first one, and that zoo scene takes place some time before that. There wouldn't be much you could do in such a level; that scene was just a small flashback in the book and is barely even worth a cutscene. If they would make levels out of such insignificant bits like that, this would be one heck of a long game. No, no, I'm 99% sure the first level is the Diagon Alley one. Quote
Sisco Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 (edited) I don't know if this is new or not So, yeah. Sorry for it being posted for like the fifth time.At least it brought some discussion back into this Discussion topic, hmm? But, yes, I have to agree with Oky that the Diagon Alley level will probably be first in the game. Edited March 20, 2010 by cralegoboy Quote
