June 14, 201014 yr Impressive movie. Agreed. Though I find it a bit unrealistic that a trooper (who even doesn't have his helmet on) can survive Force Lightning. And I find the fact that the Jedi blocked the Sith's lightsaber with her hand (and a Force ability, most likely) a bit farfetched, though more believable than the trooper surviving Force Lightning. Other than that it really is a great trailer. Too bad the game won't look like it. But never the less, this and TFU II are the most anticipated games for me Regards, CF W
June 15, 201014 yr Another great trailer. The animation is great, and the action is absolutely stellar. Seems to me that the Sith were really underpowered. Force-sensitives are supposed to be able to sense threats, what someone is going to do before it happens. So how was the guy (as cool as he was) able to bull rush his way through two sith? They should have had time to anticipate his attack... and kill him with lightsabers. Also, it's never going to be this epic. It's an MMO- the idea of the game is to get you to keep playing it, with no end in sight. There's not going to be a storyline tale as we'd see in a console game. Now, to repeat the same old garbage I said earlier: Giving the troops that armor is a mistake. It is exactly the same as clone armor. They even have the visors, the white, and the color scheme. They look exactly like phase II troopers... We know that clone armor was designed by Jango Fett and the Kaminoans- the helmet by Mandalorians, and the white-and-black colors by the Kaminoan's eccentric taste. Don't tell me that it was 'just evolution' from the Old Republic stuff. Truth is, they're just rehashing it so it looks familiar, and they're trying to get kids to play it by cashing in on the clone look.
June 15, 201014 yr Man, the cinematic trailers for this game are just incredible. I hope they keep running out movies that are as epic as these last two have been. I have to say, though, that the recycling of similar concepts from time period to time period is a bit tiresome. As Mr. Mandalorian pointed out, the fact that you can find a ship from just about any period of EU material that looks Star Destroyer-esque is, well, a bit uninspired. Watching this cinematic was really just like viewing something from the Prequels or The Clone Wars. The Republic troops look like just another Clone variant from the endless list we see in the Clone Wars era. Heck, even that leader of the troopers who charged the Sith had a very similar appearance to the Jango-clone template. I don't know, maybe it's nitpicking on my part. I guess I'd just like to see a little more originality in the designs. But hey, if the game turns out awesome and plays well, I can definitely overlook those issues.
June 19, 201014 yr Indeed this game looks awesome, I'm not much of a fan of MMOG's but this looks so cool that I might pick it up! I too find it a bit strange how the clone could survive force lightning and the jedi could block a lightsaber with her hand but this is STARWARS it's not supposed to be realistic it's just supposed to be awesome And imagine a LEGO minifig of those cool phase II clones!
June 19, 201014 yr THis game has definetaly been in the works for a long time, but it will be worth it. It looks so amazing!
