It was tough between Brickster and Hinck. I went with TheBrickster though, it just had the Classic feel to it a little more than the beautifully designed Hinckley entry.

LuxorV, I really liked the action of your Moc with the different wheel base cars etc, well done too.

Come on, people! Wouldn't it be great if all of you out there started voting for me, leaving both the Classic Town Princes here behind?

Ok, I know, it won't happen. But it was worth a try, wasn't it?

This bolded comment has tickled me up.

Yes! Come on, for those whom have not voted yet, it's a showdown for these Classic Town builders.

It appears that Brickster has fetched quite a fair bit of votes.

I've resorted to bribery through Life Points and beer - it works every time, but I realize it was probably the beer.

EDIT: Anyway, it's obvious which is the better creation. How can we let Hinck win? It just wouldn't be right. Plus, wasn't his entry after the deadline anyway?

Okay, I suppose since WF extended the voting deadline, that makes up for his late entry.

And don't we all know which one that is... (not asking for a few extra life points here... haven't logged in for a week, so I'm off to see if Scruffy IS actually still alive :D )

Three great creations there. The colour scheme of Hinckley epitomises classic town, Luxorv's traffic light was magnificent, and the window cleaner tipped me over the edge and made TheBrickster's my favourite, just.

Hey Guys!

You're not going to let Hinckley or Luxor take me down, are you? You know the better creation, you're just voting for Hinckley because he's funnier than me.

I realize most of you weren't born yet, but let's focus on the exquisite "1979" MOC, shall we? Wouldn't you rather have this creation in your classic town? Do I need to place a picture of it in my signature to remind you?

Come On! I'll buy you a beer.

EDIT: 6-Pack of Life Points if you vote for me, and I take down the competition (for those of you playing in everyone's favorite Murder Mystery)

 What's all this? Stop trying to influence the vote. Imagine if I threatened to ban anyone who voted for theBrickster. Now, that wouldn't be very fair, would it?

Congratulations Hinckley for emerging first place with 24 votes, with his classical entry, Washington Street in this EBCTC finale.

Thanks to TheBrickster and LuxorV for your kind participation in this exciting EBCTC contest.

Clever, Mr Fang - waiting for The Brickster to go on holidays before announcing H's victory!

Congratulations to all entrants and winners for their amazing work! :classic:

Well, nothing too surprising, isn't it?

All the same, congratulations Hinckley for winning this competition  , to TheBrickster for getting so close to winning when confronted with such a building monster ( ), and thanks to WhiteFang for organizing the contest and for giving us the motivatin to confront with a building style we (unfortunately) don't use very often :classic:

Ouch. I couldn't want Brickster to see this. :look:

If he sees this, when he come back, Brakes' life points will be deducted somewhere in the Emerald Express Mystery. :cry_sad:

Glad to see you guys coming up with great Classic Town entries. I must admit that TheBrickster is so close to overthrow, Hinckley's entry. Then again, all of you did an excellent job, and there is no doubt about it. Looking forward to your future entries for the next Classic Town contest.
