Pirate Pete Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Today I was playing around with some clone wars pieces and found that if you put the piece that goes on the clones helmet (that one that looks like a flashlight) in a minifig's hand, it looks like a pen! I don't hav a good camera so could someone take a picture for me? Quote
Natman8000 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I saw that two. But this really isn't too much to get a whole topic made over especially with no pics. No offense, but most of your topics are like this and are really bad. Why don't withhold these things until you get your own picture, because it is really annoying. Quote
ILikePi Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 (edited) A large amount of people already know of this technique. I agree with Natman: if you want to post something that you found out, you should at least provide a picture. Also, things this small don't really need their own topic. It would be better to post something like this on Flickr. Edited June 5, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
KimT Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 "Stand down people!" Topics such as this are at their best with pics, but lets keep this sober. There's always the option of not-posting in a given topic. Hopefully someone has a camera and will do a picture, if not this will slip into the void within long. @Pirate Pete - I suggest you get yourself a camera and in the future please show us what you're speakign of. "Hoah?" Quote
Dadster Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I hadn't known of this (the pen is mightier than the visor...or something) til the OP brought it up. Too bad we (as thread starters) don't have the ability to close those threads as well... Quote

And then going to close everyone else's threads which one person doesn't like, even while all the rest does? All we need is one strongly religious person or political extremist and we're gone ! There is plenty of good staff around and this rule has been implemented for a reason! Btw in how many forums can someone close threads do you think? And if it goes over your own threads, and you don't like the direction its going, don't worry: we'll intervene in time! Or one can always use the report button if it goes really wrong. Quote
Stauder Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 (edited) Thanks to Mr.Tools for providing a Pic. Great idea, and thanks for letting us know. Maybe we can make a topic dedicated to posting methods like this which don't deserve a topic, but you still want to share? Stauder. Edited June 10, 2009 by Stauder Quote
MrTools Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 sounds reasonable we should make a topic like that as for this idea i thought about it when the CW sets first came out just never got a set until now Quote
MrTools Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 (edited) we realy should bring up a subtopic for tips and ideas if there arent any yet... Edited June 25, 2009 by MrTools Quote

I only belong to one other forum and yes - I can close any thread I have opened there. In other words - if I open/ start a thread about fish sticks, then only I (or mods) may close it. I might like to close others' threads at some point, but I wouldn't have the ability to do so. Quote
