In the winter, it is fitted with tracks and is used in rescue situations along the many lakes and rivers. In the summer, wheels can replace the tracks, making it Swift Water Rescue. So, without further ado, here is le truck. I really like the front and especially the back of the truck (a someone said before, excellent use of that window). The tracks look a little weird to me, but that's probably because I haven't seen such a vehicle before (do you have pictures of the real thing that this is based on?). I'd like to see it with the wheels fitted as well: did you allow for this possibility in the design of the truck? Quote

It is meant to be more of a display object, but you can roll it around fairly well. The only problem with that is that the front treads get caught on the bottom plate of the cab, but the back ones roll fine. They are also prone to falling off if I press down too hard because they are just connected with these stuck inside these. It's kind of hard to explain, but I can show you at Brickworld. I'm excited to hear that you are bringing it to Brickworld! I will be looking forward to getting a closer look at it there. Less than 2 weeks to go!!!-Dave Yup, only 12 days left! Quote

The only thing which I miss are some car doors in the front but even backwars. Otherwise it's perfect. The most I like the very realistic looking crawlers. But in the last years I always took photos of the most of my MOCs so I can at least look at the photos. And btw: My strict opinion agianst 6 stuck wide vehicles changed: When the cars are very well and precsiley deisgned and are in reality much bigger than regular cars it's ok. There are even some pros of 6 stuck wide vehicles: E. g. the Helicopter Transporter would look bad if 4 stuck wide and the truck of the Truck & Forklift set could only fit very small pallets. Nevertheless I still prefer the nice little lovely 4 stuck wider vehicles - such as the lovely white escort vehicle in the awesome 7747 Wind Turbine Transport set. Also, a lot of my MOCs are scraped in the basic design stage, so I don't have as many as I could. It took me some time as well to make the mental switch to 6 (or even 7) wide trucks when they were introduced with the World City line... it just looks much better next to 4 wide cars and the two extra studs allow for much more detail and interior space.
