Are you guys deaf? I'm not a flippin' town council member. Kill George if you like, I don't give a rat's megablocks. No go eat your dragon in your other life or whatever!

I don't think anyone is going to say that they're a town council member. :hmpf:

We're just going to have to guess at it, so unless you can prove it's someone else in your group, OR prove that you're not the Towncouncil member, than I'm going to keep on believeing it's you.

Where's the lovely Hallanor, I haven't talked to her since we all grouped back together, and we were becoming such good friends!

Well, hold on, Jethro, just because you're a council member (thanks for finally admitting it) doesn't mean you're trying to kill anybody. Or does it? You don't need a gun to kill someone.

The Town Council is a controlling, secretive group that, along with the mayor, is bent on keeping everyone in the town - or else. Those that speak of leaving are seldom heard from again, while those intent on staying live peacefully with most necessities provided for them. Basically, it's live here or don't live at all.

Jethro did.

Well, both Gaylord and I seem to be helping you guys and wish to leave, and since Hans hasn't contributed much, I'd expect it to be him. In fact, "ze only thing 'ee 'as beeen doing ees meesleading us."

Well, Howard's suspicions with Jethro sound like they could have some merit, but at the same time he seems less delusional than we thought he was. Is it possible Howard is trying to trick us?

Jethro did what? What did I say, please tell me? I hate to be accussed of something when there is no proof. I never stated that I wanted to stay, and I never stated that I wanted to leave.

How do we know that the people that say they want to leave really want to leave...or could it be a trick? I really hope that bandwagon ain't comin' back into town again. Looks like a few of you might be ridin' on it already.

You said you were a Town Council member.

I'd just like to point out that there is no use in having someone that doesn't want to leave. And according to Howard, he doesn't:

Are you trying to flee the town, becuase I'm not, but I know that some people are, but maybe I shouldn't of said that.

(Taken from page one of chapter four. here)

That's interesting - from what I heard, he couldn't stop talking about leaving when looking for another way out of town...

Max, do you know if the N1 series can be substituted for the T1 series (to echo Brakes)?

Not too sure where you've been there Pete, but I never said I'm a member of any town council. Check your facts before you start pointing fingers, 'mkay?

I think when you this: "Of course I tried to trick you, you silly basturd Howard! How else would I have known your allegiance?" He took it as a confession. I'm a little confused as to what you meant as well. Perhaps you could clarify?

Also,

Of course I tried to trick you, you silly basturd Howard! How else would I have known your allegiance? I would really appreciate it if you would stop trying to point me out as some delusional psycho! I don't carry a gun, I bust my megablocks all day on the farm, and I was more than hospitable with the newcomers in town. Man oh man, after all we've been through...

The group doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. Perhaps there's some additional clues you missed?

You're right Pete. I was orginally trying to flee town. Hope this post explains!

Ouch. My invisibilty must be wearing off. Now so a quick escape!

*Howard runs into the window, assumely hoping it will break. It does not.*

Uff. My head. Howard suffers one life point damage. What the heck are life points. Why'd I say that. I hope that giant voice in the sky isn't trying to take me over.

Anyways, I'm not he town council man. I don't actually have any ways to prove that, other than saying that I really am trying to help you folks, and revealing something I wish I didn't have to, since it was my edge for a tiny bit. I was orginally going to stay in town, or so the voice in teh sky told me. But then, right before we got split into groups, the voice told me to change my mind, and I was happy to comply (the voice told me to stay at first, but I wanted to go). While I was evil, Jethro told me he was evil too! :look:

I concluded that my change of heart was so that each group could have one town council man. I think that means the town council man in our group is Kill'in George. He simply acts suspcious, and whenever I accuse him, he calls me insane. Me? Insane? Yeah right. I think the voice in teh sky would of told me if I was insane. :hmpf_bad:

Anyways, now we've just got to find those other council members. And turn the swtich. Why else would we be here except to turn the switch. I mean pull the lever. Pull the Johnson Rod? What's a Johnson Rod? I must of hit my head hard.

Hey folks! Welcome to Willoughby. Real lovely town, small, but a real nice town. Who are you? What are you doing? Do you know that Willoughby has a population of only about 20? I sure did! We're what some people call a ghost town. It's very spooky sometimes. All my neighbors moved away, can't imagine why. *Laughs at his own joke* Boy oh boy. One of them told me I was a pain in the... well, nether regions....

Did I already say this?

The voice in the sky has made it pretty clear that we're not getting anywhere.

Since none of the Town Council members are likely to admit they are Town Council members, I suggest we drop the accusations and focus on the puzzle. If they are really that against us leaving, they will make a move when we come up with a solution so their secret won't be safe much longer. Then we can act against them as a group.

If any of the inbred yokels want to keep on arguing with each other about who said what and what it means, they can take it outside.

Let's just stick to the clues as we have them and leave out the speculation.

In particular the switching diagram seems to have been forgotten. I have a brain for tastes, sensations, food - not at all technical, so maybe someone will have better luck in working out what we need to do to get the track functional.

Brakes, perhaps you could remind us what parts are missing that we still need to locate to get the train up and running?

The most important thing is to get moving, we can always throw Momma stowaways from the train later if need be.

Actually, Arin was the only one from our group to accuse me. Everyone else is unsure, while I think it is the constable.

I didn't accuse.

Yes so this seems to be pure chaos. We need to bring together the clues or important things that each group found and put them together so we can look at them all collectively.

Schmelt is brilliant, again.

I think it's good guess that Jennifer Chamberlain painted the "sanctuary X" on the wall, do you think that means there's a clue from her on the area of the map marked "X"?

It's all we have to go on, so I think it's worth a shot.

Okay, I'm in. But like I said before, I still think we should solve the switches. Let's go to that X area first.

If I had to guess, they are a route to get out of town. The one in the train shed led to downtown, there must be one downtown leading to the next point, and so on. If we tracked our way from one to the next, we might learn something.

Ok, I may have missed something, but why do we need to switch any tracks? The Emerald Express is already on the mainline, so why is there any requirement at all to switch any points? I thought all was needed was a new Johnson Rod?

I thought all was needed was a new Johnson Rod?

(I can't wait to see all the jokes this comment will trigger)

We know a few things each, and we're all avoiding them. So let's just get what we know out in the open.

I agree we all probable know things about eachother that we're avoiding.... Ok so It seems everyone forgot that Arin was the only person on the Emerald Express who asked for/was given a locker. Surely thats suspicous? Or it could just be another red herring. Oh and the staff decided to look in arins locker only because it seemed suspicous and the fact that a knife had showed up earlier (red herring?) But Schmelt & Max bumped into each other so im guessing Max never got to look inside? :look:

That's pretty much all I know......So I think everyone should give some information that they think would be helpfull in getting the hell outta here!

Agreed, Its on the mainline so why would we? Yeah I'm still looking for that Johnson Rod but havnt found it in any holes like Grease said they would be in...he's such a strange man.... :look::laugh:

Herman said he had one, but he's probably just trying to fool us. That thing can't really be a Johnson Rod, it looks too fake. Definitely too long. :look:

Brakes, perhaps you could remind us what parts are missing that we still need to locate to get the train up and running?

Oh, Herman had passed me his "Johnson Rod", but that needs to be examined first. I am not sure if it is suitable. Perhaps Steve, Max and I could check on these parts.

In addition, I need Max to examine whether the N1 Horizontal and Vertical Drive Gear can be used for replacement as an alternative for the orignal "T1" series. I do hope Max is alright after the meat cleaver assault. It's is not a very good experience after all.

We are short of, 1x4 Johnson Rod Bracket so far, if the above verifications are all correct.

I did not ask for or get a locker. It was Eleanor! And we later found out that she had a gun. Which Max took away from her. Perhaps we should all go back and read before we start posting. It seems like everyone is really confused. So Sanctuary X lead to downtown. I wonder if that brick in the jail that was loose has any other loose bricks around it. I wonder if thats the place.
