I don't think that's really our goal anymore... this town is the mystery to be solved. I'm just not sure what we're allowed to do right now, or if we're supposed to be doing anything more than evaluating what we already know.

Perhaps you guys need to retrace your steps to determine what you may have missed. Do I need to throw a few snakes into the mystery to help?

Listen everyone. The big voice in the sky wants us to retrace the our steps, and he threatened to throw in some snakes! Who feel like they missed something! Did any group not fully explore an "X" that they found? Did every group find an "X"? Hely crap! Sankes! Hurry!

*Howards opens his mouth as a snake slithers out*

Sorry. That was my breakfast. I never chew enough.

If there is a murderer amongst us, could they please off this guy? :hmpf: Seriously. At least make him unconscious. Too bad I threw my pipe out. Howard, stop saying things. Nobody knows what this town council is, nobody cares. It doesn't seem to be much of a threat since we haven't seen any concrete evidence that we had one in each group. Jennifer Christ warned us about them and somebody tried to kill Max, but besides that we can't really tell what the danger is and the more you say the more we just want to be away from all of you.

Anyway, what did we miss? ... I think we were pretty thorough at the farm. We could go explore that "Danger" direction of the tracks. We could go by foot in case there are any dangers that the hand car wouldn't be sufficient for, ie sudden track ending.

I know we have to retrace our steps, but I'm still wondering if those combinations worked...

Another thing we may have missed is this safe that is still locked. Have we tried entering the date that our journey started?

I know we have to retrace our steps, but I'm still wondering if those combinations worked...

He told you NO! Read things... doofus.

I'd like to try 50509 as the safe combination.

It would have been nice if we had a clue about the combination since we have 100,000 possibilities. Perhaps we do and have missed it. We tried several combinations prior to all of you coming. Do any of you townies know anything about this wall safe? Can we just shoot off the lock with Hellanor's gun?

Do I need to throw a few snakes into the mystery to help?

Only if they work as Johnson rods.

Anyways, I really don't think we're going to find out a combination by just guessing building block numbers. Let's see, we explored pretty much everything in our group, but maybe we should search the hotel rooms once more. I'd also like to see that switch tower myself, maybe something will present itself. If all else fails, I want to head down the sewer and feel/ look around the walls.

That's all I got. I hope this works...

Ok, let's start with Sanctuary X. How many of the groups found their mark and what did it reveal?

In the case of 6a, we found it on a wall at the train shed and after examining the ground nearby, I found the entrance to the tunnel that led from there to main street. That led me to believe that the marks would be safe path out of town, but without knowing what the others revealed, it's hard to tell.

6b, what did you find?

He told you NO! Read things... doofus.

I'd like to try 50509 as the safe combination.

You should take you're own advice - I suggested multiple combinations after he told me "no."

Do any of you townies know anything about this wall safe? Can we just shoot off the lock with Hellanor's gun?

Huh... *huh*

I'd like to go open the safe. I have lock picking skills and it's about time I got to use them.

6b, what did you find?

Of interest, two "X" notes, the first found in Constable's hotel room's nightstand reading this:

The Town Council suspects that I am attempting to leave Willoughby. They are trying to kill me and will stop at nothing! If you find this note, know that I have left clues for you to follow my trail. Must go now! Good Luck. X.

And the second found in the jail, behind a rock marked with an X. It reads:

If this letter shall find you, I have been locked up in jail where I now plan my final escape from this wretched place. I believe that I have successfully devised a plan to leave Willoughby. I have hidden clues in each of the four corners of the town, for you to follow. The difficulty will be for you to piece them together while some will attempt to stop you. Also realize that there may be one among you who has helped them bring you to this horrible place. I wish you luck in getting out alive. -JC

Also a safe behind a picture in the town hall that the Mayor supposedly didn't know about. A locked door in the town hall, a gun safe without a key, and a room under renovation. Oh, and the invoice for the oil tanker.

We didn't find any X on the farm. Should we go back and look?

What did we learn at the farm. Er... :look: Er...

Stills explode, scorpions bite and bear traps smash legs. I'm walking with a cane! :sweet:

Did we learn anything important? Nobody seems to know who Elizabeth Rose Thornton is, nobody recognized anybody from the train. The dog talks a lot. Jeb said something about the town council that seem to differ from what you all think ... What was it?

Oh, we have the fuel tanker and the other set of tracks and the unexplored set of tracks marked "Danger." I think someone messed with the sign to make us think that Willoughby was danger but we went the danger way and it happened to actually lead to Willoughby...

As soon as we get a definitive answer on whether or not I can open the safe(s), absolutely.

For that matter, I'm absolutely certain I can open that locked door at least. Alex, care to tell us what's behind door #1?

Right, because Willoughby has been so safe. Aside from those other things.

Hey Herman. I'm helping you. I'm the first one to suggest that we think back to who missed an "X" and in the post you quoted I didn't even mention the town council, I was moving forward!

As for the X missed on the farm, yes, that would be advised. We found one in the tower, and that lead us to the switches. We just have to follow the "X's". It's very possible that they lead out of town. But that wouldn't solve anything as far as I can see. We need to know who Jennifer was. Our group did not find any notes from her, but the map was probaly made by her, yes?

Go to hell, Max. I really hate you.

*attempts to throw the rod at Max, but misses*

:hmpf_bad: Crap.

Is this megablocksin' kettle a bracket? :hmpf:

I can't stop laughing. Who said, I didn't care about that rod. I did request the "experts" to inspect closely.

Ok, after PMing the voice in the skythinking about things, I have come to the conclusion that N1 is good to go as a replacement for T1! :classic:

Good! Now, we have solved the train parts issue, and we still short of 2 more, since the Johnson rod which Herman had found was just a pipe.:laugh:

Okay. We have to go back to the train shed, since we didn't find all the parts. That's a given. Also, where exactly did your searches lead you group 2. Where was the last Jennifer clue pointing to. Did you collect any information. Group 3, did you learn ANYTHING? Not to sound rude, but you seem to have just slept and talked, and found a rail car. Not very useful in the lnog run. May I teleport us to the train shed?

Could you go megablocks yourself, please? I'm so tired of him. Can someone hit him with the kettle. Eleanor, can I see your gun for a second?

Anyway, I'd like to travel back to the farm and see if we can't find something else... :sceptic:

I agree with Herman; let's get a few of us together and head back to the farm. I'm sure a few additional sets of eyes may help us locate this mysterious X.

I'm in.

Unfortunately, the group is unable to piece enough of the clues together to provide them with a way out of Willoughby. What will they try next?
