Before we get to the MOC, let me tell you that I am new to the Eurobricks forums. I belong to SSLF, but it's gotten kind of lazy and quiet over there, so I decided to see what this was all about. I recently got back into LEGOs early last year, and here's my flickr account for any of you who are wondering or want to see my earlier creations. Now onto the MOC:

Here she is, boys. The "RoHawk."

Go to the gallery to see more pictures and the background to the set/faction/hanger. I was inspired to build this by that yellow engine piece on the side. I wondered what I could do with it, and started adding stuff. I then made the middle engine. I looked in vain for two days to find the other yellow engine that I know that I had, but to no avail, so I gave up on it, building instead the main body, which is the third design I went through. I finished it, but realized, "Oh crap, I don't have that last engine." So I kept looking even harder, and the closest thing I could find was the black one, so I just reversed the colors.

It's a lot bigger in person than it seems. I've been told that it looks like Blacktron I theme colors, but that's entirely debatable. I wasn't going for it.

Hm... very nice, quite sleek and aerodynamic. I like the color scheme, it's OK if on engine is black and not the other. It might actually look better with both black, but that's just me. I also like the hanger. Looks pretty interesting.

I get the impression that he's a careless Mercenary/Space Pirate. Is he?

I think it looks more modern than old school Blacktron. Very swooshable and well made.

Very nice. I like how those side engines look--it helps with the wasp-like feel of the entire vessel.

I love it, the yellow and black really works as a colour scheme and the yellow/black engines actually looks great in my eyes. Kudos for building a sort of hangar for it too.
