Bfahome Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 BM is MASSIVE Guys, it's an entire planet. I can imagine that they'll get a least one more year out of it. Quote
Brickthing Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Guys, it's an entire planet. I can imagine that they'll get a least one more year out of it. Yeah, but as I said before, they've made it pretty clear that BM is just a lot of the same thing - desert. Also, if they stayed on BM it would be logical to reuse Thornax launchers, and although that would be a nice thing for sets IMO, I can't see LEGO reusing them and their complementary SUPER-ACTION thing for a second year. @ SM( )'s size, it may not be that big, because we don't know exactly how big that BM crater is, and it looks like it could've fit the EO judging from the trailer. Bundalings Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Well if I ever do get a set before you, I promise not to do a review 'till you do. Nooooooooooo! Hey, did the people that one the last BBC get vehicles? I thought I saw that somewhere... that one got Thornatus... which is funny, 'cause I thought they said they were winning canister sets... If they -did- win the vehicles, then second and third prizes were way better than first. =P ~Bunda Quote

Also gold Ignika. Quote
Brickthing Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Try thinking with portals crossbows. Cool yes, logical for BM, no. Quote
Nightmare Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 That Bara Magna doesn't have anything to provide? May I remind you that most likely there are Great Beings Labs hidden somewhere? Quote
---Vertea--- Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 That Bara Magna doesn't have anything to provide? May I remind you that most likely there are Great Beings Labs hidden somewhere? ah... very possible... Bara Magna might actually be more interesting if we get into what the GBs left behind... Quote
Bfahome Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Cool yes, logical for BM, no. Logic has nothing to do with it. At the current time they have guns that shoot exploding fruit by squeezing it (which itself doesn't cause the fruit to explode). Quote
Brickthing Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 That Bara Magna doesn't have anything to provide? May I remind you that most likely there are Great Beings Labs hidden somewhere? That's most likely going to be covered in the movie, because there where drawings of what looks like MN in the GBL. Logic has nothing to do with it.At the current time they have guns that shoot exploding fruit by squeezing it (which itself doesn't cause the fruit to explode). Greg has said that the most advanced things that Glatorians have are Thornax launchers, so Thornax Cross-bows don't make sense storyline wise. Anyway, what I'm saying is that the story isn't going to do gladiator fights in the desert again, and that's pretty much all Bara Magna has to offer. Quote
Nightmare Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) Oh yeah, I forgot. At 4a.m. today (which, if I'm not mistaken, is in 2-3 minutes) Bink and the Denmark team will begin to update BIONICLE.com That's most likely going to be covered in the movie, because there where drawings of what looks like MN in the GBL. yes, but maybe there are more of them. Also, we don't know what lies in Northern bara Magna, or even south. EDIT: Taken from Skopio XV-1 Review Back of the box Size comparison with some sets (Including Axalara) EDIT: Scrap what I said, it's going to happen in 20 minutes or so as of this edit. Scrap again, update delayed one day TT__TT Edited July 1, 2009 by Nightmare Quote
Illari Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 You guys really think they're going to skip on all the potential BM has? I'm sure we'll stay on the planet for at least two more years, with 2010 most likely being on the exact same area as this year. Think of all the possibilities. Baterra going crazy and killing everything with or without weapons, glatorian becoming toa (would be logical sales-wise), Element Lords, Skrall changing sides or something, a CIVIL WAR between the tribes... Anything can happen. Also Makuta could somehow come to BM after a couple of years. Quote
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 (edited) Wow, just in a few days and Greg has already revealed a bunch of stuffs. Somehow I knew Aqua Magna was gonna be the name for the EOP. Now all that's left is the green moon. That place is probably filled with plants and trees. Flora Magna? Holy Diver Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I predict that Mata Nui will recruit the locals of Bara Magna (who are thankful for him defeating the Skrall) into building a new giant mecha body and will use the Bara Magnans to form an army so he can reclaim the Matoran Universe from Makuta. He will also visit the frosts to recruit the species there (biomechanical Vikings anyone?). After he helps them with their problems, Mata Nui will liberate the Universe and all will be right with the world. Quote
Bfahome Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Greg has said that the most advanced things that Glatorians have are Thornax launchers, so Thornax Cross-bows don't make sense storyline wise. Are Glatorian the only residents of Bara Magna? Seriously, are they? I don't follow this stuff. ._. Quote

He said that the most advanced thing that people in Bara Magna can create is a Thornax Launcher, which is as advanced as a bow. Patching, of course, is different. Quote
Antrozek Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Mata Nui of course will find a way to get back to his universe (Great beings help Koff koff) im drawing a comic of Certavus and Ackar, and with a SAAAD Ending Quote
Brickthing Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Mata Nui of course will find a way to get back to his universe (Great beings help Koff koff)im drawing a comic of Certavus and Ackar, and with a SAAAD Ending Hopefully just from the GBs tech, not them themselves. I like the idea of never actually meeting any GBs, and even after MN's mission is fully explained/completed and BIONICLE ends, what happened to the GBs remains a mystery. Certavus dies? Quote
Wrinkledlion X Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 We know of jungles, mountains, volcanic hellholes and icecaps on Bara Magna. There's a lot more than just desert, and there's surely a lot more to see. I mean, if I was in ancient Rome I could easily say that there's nothing to do besides watch gladiator fights and wander around, but there's a whole lot of world besides Rome. I mean, we could spend an entire year inside a single broken piece of the Great Spirit prototype. I assume it still has domes and possibly dry islands inside it. There are endless possibilities on Bara Magna. Quote
Bundalings Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 A group of Bara Magnans get trapped inside a dome and are chased around by angry prototype Matoran? That would be cool. ~Bunda Quote
---Vertea--- Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 A group of Bara Magnans get trapped inside a dome and are chased around by angry prototype Matoran? That would be cool.~Bunda yeah... only instead of Matoran, the failed monstrous experiments of the GBs Quote
Bfahome Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 yeah... only instead of Matoran, the failed monstrous experiments of the GBs And there are 9 Glatorian and the experiments are trying to catch them and bring them back to a chief experiment that is pure evil and has many arms. :D Quote
Nightmare Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 And there are 9 Glatorian and the experiments are trying to catch them and bring them back to a chief experiment that is pure evil and has many arms. :D And let's not forget mouths Quote
---Vertea--- Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 And let's not forget mouths and the large sets are either experimental machines of war, or large monsters. And the head thing has several eyes and no mouth. Quote
Wrinkledlion X Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 And it would all take place in the ruins of a half-built clone of Metru Nui. Quote
