Bundalings Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Just because Dorn was Lt. Warf doesn't mean thats his only voice. I doubt I'll see the film honestly, would feel silly buying a Bionicle movie now at my age (not to offend anyone, my problem with me not you guys :)) but I would be interested in seeing clips. Netflix is anonymous, so I won't feel bad for renting it. :P ~Bunda Quote
Refia Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I wonder if The Legend Reborn will get leaked like some other movies this year (X-men Origins: Wolverine, Ice Age 3...). Quote
The Alchemyst Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Eh, I doubt it, only "leaks" previously were private showings of parts and etc. Since Hollywood Video won't get it until 5 months later, I'll probably buy it. Eh, no shame for me. :P [-TA-] Quote
Antrozek Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Strakk: Jeff Glen Bennett = Jonnhy Bravo = I made this: Quote
Hydrobius Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Antrozek. That's awesome. :D Say, didn't Greg tell us that Strakk had no speaking role in the movie... ? Might leave some hope for others like Vastus, then; since we only have a partial list. Quote
S-N Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Antrozek. That's awesome. :DSay, didn't Greg tell us that Strakk had no speaking role in the movie... ? Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 That is the best piece of artwork I've ever seen. You are so awesome, Antrozek! ... And you still haven't done my request yet. Quote
The Nightwing Reborn Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 James Arnold Taylor is the best. Obi-Wan, The Fallen (in the TF movie game at least), and Ratchet. I'm stoked. Plus Mark Famiglietti was in T3 (no matter how terrible it was). Good cast. Quote
InnerRayg Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Well you know someone will upload it on Youtube or as a Torrent somewhere so I'm sure you'll see it eventually without the shame of picking up a kid's movie and having the checkout clerk give you a disapproving look.yes-I have those fears too. Don't be a big baby. Oh no...the poorly paid store clerk might judge you for half a second! I mean, take a second and look at how well their lives are going, they are probably not gonna have much reason to feel superior. Quote

There are the "for my kids/a birthday present" excuses, but usually if you admit it's for yourself, they'll see it as a hobby, which most people have. I'll probably order the DVD online, simply because I'll get it sooner that way. Quote
Front Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Can the other pieces still be used for building and are they sturdy/strong? These are the only pieces that will have any issues, but I only had a quick look at the list. I thought they broke anyway, along with all other 2008-onwards joints...Or does it have grip issues as well? Aside from the breaking, the arms are very nice pieces. Congrats on them. I think the instructions are probably on LEGO.com now aren't they? Well yes, ball cups are not like doing great, but I've not have any from the 2009 sets breaking. The problem with the two-colored ones are not that they are two colored, but they simply used the wrong materials for this small prototype test moulding series. These ball cups will snap the first time you use them, satisfaction garanteed. Quote

Does B6 or Bink know this, so that they can tell whoever might be getting the trans-parts? Breaking a prototype piece has got to be a very bad thing to do. Quote
---Vertea--- Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 ZP Topic with Glatorian Legends commercial and footage from TLR! Quote
Refia Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 It's kinda sad that I get excited over such little clips and bits of the movie, but regardless, I'll still shout: I NEED TO SEE THAT MOVIE!!!!! (capsrape! exclamation point abuse! yay!) Also, nice commercial. And lol at Mata Nui taking his seat in the cinema. Quote

I'm kinda psyched that Kiina is shooting energy out of her trident. much as I liked the idea of powerless weapons, the Glatorian weapons are just too cool to play with WITHOUT pretending to shoot beams. I hate to dissapoint, but after watching it three times in a row and stop-and-play'ing it, Kiina's weapon is not really shooting anything, I think. My guess is that it's just reflecting light, or a spark from when it hits another weapon. Hmm, we need a larger image. =/ Quote

I now consider this the first real Bionicle movie. the other three are dead to me. :P Quote
Antrozek Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 finnally the old announcer is back! HE MAKES THINGS GO MOAR EPIC Quote
Brickthing Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Was Stronius commanding an army of Stroni? Don't give AV those ideas! That's a cool trailer, but I hope the Glatorian don't make those primal grunts in the movie... Quote
80 Dollar Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 The old announcer is a nice touch. I didn´t notice that Omicron was banned from BZP. Does anyone know why? Quote
Brickthing Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 The old announcer is a nice touch.I didn´t notice that Omicron was banned from BZP. Does anyone know why? That's odd...Maybe he's gotten bored of BIONICLE? It doesn't look like he's done anything bad recently... I hope we get a full blown trailer in the style of that teaser soon. Quote

Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Love the new commercial. There's also a LEGO cinema version of the Mistika commercial too, with Tahu in the audience. And Omicron is banned? Boy, I feel sorry for him. He was a funny guy. Quote
