I liked the part of Vezon and the Great Being. But the part of Tren Krom and Lewa, hmm, not so much, to be honest. Either Tren Krom gets back in his body and lives, or he goes out there in the universe and gets himself, inevitably, killed by Teridax. Let's get real here, people, it's going to be Mata Nui, most likely, to save his own guts, er, body and universe. So every plan anybody comes up with in RoS is doomed to fail. And that's what makes RoS such a waste of time, mostly, at least for me.

Remember, it's the journey, not the destination that matters.

Vertea: I have the same thoughts as you. I google Bionicle 2010 every day. Lol. Odds are we'll hear some things in August, or late July.

And as for the Core War contest...

I am entering. I will win.

Interesting. I am definitely going to try for this. Having a story of mine become canon would be a dream come true. I must begin planning immediately. Have a draft done by at least next week, edit and finalize, type it up, eagerly await voting/judging. And Antrozek, that is very epic and just the way I pictured it.

That is EPIC. I love how you draw Lewa. He's like a mix of the Nuva and the Phantoka form. That's how they should've done in 2008. But since when did Lewa have a cape? And Tren Krom should have more tentacles, rather than being a glowing skull.

Love the new BS01 contest. Too bad I'm no writer, though.

And before you think I don't know what I'm saying, I'll prove it to users who don't know who I am ;)

And yes, I also plan to enter, if the community allows me to. We'll be hiring judges to decide the winners. -Swert

Couple of comments:

1 - The contest sounds cool, but I probably won't enter. I was all hyped up about it until I saw the 4000 word limit, as all my ideas were centered around a story that would probably be much longer than that. Ah well, can't have everything, I guess.

2 - Now that I look back on the first movie scene released, it strongly reminded me of the 2001 movie with the bird investigating Onua's canister and getting suprised by it rumbling. The scene from the new movie is kinda like that too, only with a lot more creatures and the object of interest lighting up instead of making noise. Anyone else get that vibe?

Anywho, one thing does annoy me about movie mata nui...The thing between his thights, the "ninja skirt" It looks too thick and bulky to look right. :/

The loincloth is made out of sand in actuality, so it can't be too thin in the first place. Plus, the movie is more of a cartoon style anyway.

Yeah, the loincloth is creepy, not to mention confusing and pointless. He would look way better without it.

I just finished Raid on Vulcanus. One of the best Bionicle books, for sure. And if the movie is as good as the preview chapter of The Legend Reborn novelization, it'll be great. Here's hoping all the voice acting is as good as Mata Nui's...
