Back on topic, I really liked RoV but based on the preview chapter of TLR it seems that the Vorox fight will be really short and lame. I was hoping for more stylized over-the-top (almost distastefully) long fight scenes, instead of the more realistic style we seem to be getting. And the novelization is really close to the movie, it has the magnificent part and all.

Well, but it had to be cheesy, it's just the first battle! Also, Bink has said anything past 1/3 the movie will be revealed.

BTW, anyone with Ackar or Mata Nui, what's the problem with the feet armor? (ankles) Is it the pins or the pieces are just too... "soft"? (IDK how to say it, sorry)

Sorry about that KimT. I figured a third of my post was on topic, and another third was related to the 2010 Story topic, but I didn't think it merited two posts. The last third was unnecessary for sure though.

Given the fact that Mata Nui was stumbling around just before, anything more impressive than a few heavy swings before toppling over would be unrealistic. However, the final battle against Tuma should be epic.

The armour is connected with a 1.5 pin, which doesn't have the friction lines, so it rotates freely and annoyingly.

The legs look a bit like the legs of my 3D Mata Nui that I made a while ago.

It's a pity that the movie spear isn't double sided with tangling wires like the set version.

I (finally) got my Legends, so I can now do my thoughts on them.

Gelu: Um... boring. He's your basic build, nothing special about him except a new head/mask (you know... 2009) and thos things on the back of his arms. 2/10

Stronius: I actually like this guy. He looks really good, despite his massive armor. He looks like a cross between Carapar and Mantax. I would also like to point out that when you put his head down and point his shoulder armor up at a certain angle, he looks like an awkward turtle. 7/10

Kiina: I love this chick! At first, when we saw those older pics, I thought she was crap. But now, it's like... wonderful! I look at her, and I see a very pissed off sea goddess. Also, if you take off her mask and shoulder armor (and possible her leg armor) she. Looks. Like. A. girl! O: I like the ocean based design. I also like the body build, very nice, very new, and very unique. Also, I lol'd at thos hybrid legs, why would they do that? xD I give her a 7/10

Ackar: Again, he's the common build. But for some reason, I like him. It's probably because of the Mata Red and orange. It's really good. I'm pissed at those cuffs on his ankles, though. Anyone know a way to mod those so they won't rattle? Like, does a friction pin work? Anyways, I like him more than Gelu, I don't know though. It's probably just because he looks cool. 6/10

Vastus: Meeeh... his build is kind unique but that staff really gets on my nerves. I like how the silver spikes stay nicely settled iin his shoulder armor and that it doesn't move around unless you knock it a bit. His snake design is very cool, but I only thought he had 2 pigtrails. Apparently he also has a ponytail. Lol. And I'm confused on why he has those 2 pieces on his back. It looks kinda awkward when you pull them out. 6/10

Mata Nui: When I first pulle dout the Ignika and compared it to last years, I was laughing quite a bit about how it's so small and adorable. Like, it's just cute. I don't know how to describe it, but I think I'm in love with a small piece of plastic. In any case, his shoulder armor makes it hard to pose his arms back (I was setting up a photo shoot of all my sets and I had him above everyone else with his head back and armss raised (like a... savior person... Messiah) and it was hard to position his arms right. However, I still love him. His shield is cool. I also made his movie sword, and it's... okay. Could be better though. 9/10

And folks, your head is pretty "tiny" too, no offense. Bionicle heads have been huge for so long we're forgetting what the size a a human head is. =P

Well, Ackar and Gelu are somewhat bland in their designs. Kiina has a much more interesting build and better parts. I don't typically like blue sets, but Kiina stands out as a pure water goddess. I also recommend her for her helmet. It reminds me of the helmets worn by the Uruk-hai from the LOTR film adaptation.
