Marla Sokoloff is hot.

I know right.

ANYWAY

Berix sounds nothing like Obi-Wan, I suppose this voice is better though. Unless he's the traitor. But it seems he isn't.

Ackar is win. Mata Nui sounds how he should.

Kiina. Uh. It can work. Depends on the animation.

Gresh is alright. I can't figure out what he said at the end though. "_____, but I could use a new weapon." [laughter]

Something along the lines of "you don't need to baby me", because it's related to him being hurt from some battle but still wanting to go with Mata Nui.

At the moment, not sure what to make out of the voices. Mata Nui is perfect, Ackar is a bit too old IMO, Berix sounds like...comic relief material if you ask me, Kiina seems a bit too hyperactive but I definitely like her voice, I imagined Gresh's voice to be a bit deeper but the age is spot on.

Guess we can't comment much on these..I'm pretty sure I'll like them more once I see the whole film.

I really like Bye Bye Babylon, love the combination of rock and Arabian style. Still trying to understand the meaning of the lyrics, however.

@Greivous: Don't think Cryoshell is Hard Rock at all. =/ With all the different instruments, and especially with CiMS and now this, it's much more alternative I think. My kind of music. :D

They used Hell, so I'm wondering what the Lego vers will have.

As a song, I think it tops CiMS.

[-TA-]

I don't worry about categorizing into genres. That's a job for librarians. :P

The logical word to replace "hell" would be "ill," in the context. But it wouldn't have quite the same level of meaning. Also, it just technically sounds better sung with an H in front.

I love the atmosphere this song evokes. It's very well suited to this year's BIONICLE story arc. Alas, however, the theme of the song resonates less with me than does "Creeping in My Soul," "Gravity Hurts," or "Closer to the Truth." I'm sure it'll grow on me as I listen and digest it more, though. :classic:

I fixed a couple of words for you guys:

Release...

Let me take on eternity

Taking one more step

And let it rip through me.

I'm building up my nerve

So you can wish me well

Or you can wish me hell.

From pride we'll fall!

Bye bye Babylon!

Once reaching for the sun,

Depraving everyone.

So don't you know,

You don't belong.

Bye Bye Babylon!

Now scattered, you were wrong

Left burning in the sun

We'd better be...

Bye Bye Babylon, begone!

Unseen...

The crime of destruction is facing me

I wanted to retreat,

But you won't let me be.

I'm calling for belief.

Be sure, I will be there.

And you will fall! [fade]

Bye Bye Babylon!

Now scattered, you were wrong.

Left burning in the sun

We'd better be...

Bye Bye Babylon, begone!

Bye Bye Babylon, begone!

Bye Bye Babylon, begone!

Since no one seems to figure the whole lyrics, I think the best thing we could do would be ask Mikkel Maltha if he could send us them...

I thought it was "pay".

Anyway, guys, Berix could still potentially be the traitor. If Gresh is going to say something like "Skrall and Bone Hunters, trust me" and Berix is the traitor, it'd be possible for him to call off/have called off the attack and then accuse Gresh of lying.

But wait, for anyone with the Raid on Vulcanus book, does it say somewhere that the traitor is an Agori? Because I'm still suspicious about Strakk.

I have the book, and it says Agori. To quote it:

"Tuma had another weapon in his arsenal about which the villagers knew nothing. One of the Agori had betrayed his people. He was feeding information to the Skrall, and then from the Skrall to the Bone Hunters. The Hunters would use that information to strike where it would hurt the Agori most: their caravans and their resource-gathering sites. The result was that the Glatorian and Agori... "

Bottom of page 77, top of page 78. The paragraph goes on for a while, but without a doubt, confirms it's an Agori. Seeing as I just got it today, I really liked it - much more... emotional aspects in it than a lot of the past ones. Metus and Gelu even refer to Gresh and other trainees as 'kids'.

On another note from the Traitor, I can't wait to get the RoV now, that short little paragraph you posted sounds like some of the best things I have heard since the 2006 books.

Greg is stepping it up this year. The comics are pretty good as well.

That reminds, me, I need to go order it.

As obvious as it sounds, I'm thinking Metus is the traitor. I just don't see Raanu betraying his people to the Skrall, not after all we've seen him do for Vulcanus. And Berix is TOO obvious in my eyes to be the traitor. So Metus it is, I think. There really aren't a lot of options anymore.

Mister Maltha has been very kind and has provided me the right lyrics :classic: :

I've been thinking that the traitor could be one of the pilots of Kaxium and Cendox. Don't know much about them, so it's a possibility.

No, for they don't have roles in the movie. Also, I think that Greg confirmed that he would be one of the Winter 2009 sets.

But knowing the story team super plot twists... Atakus is the traitor!

The traitor of couse is the Zesk of Tajun!

who could even suspect from a pet?

Since when do Tajun Agori keep Zesk as pets?

Now I'm starting to think that Metus is the traitor. I mean, who would be a better traitor than the guy who helped the main hero in the first place? Plus, Raanu and Berix don't seem like they can betray their own people.

Heh. I'd personally be pretty pissed off if Raanu was the traitor since I liek him, but if he was, thenit sure would add a lot of emotional stuff to the situation. Something like "I betrayed you to help my people! The people of Vulcanus shall reign supreme!" etc, etc.

. . . Then he turns into a giant robot for some reason, and kicks everyone else's megablocks. Until Mata Nui restores him to sanity by the power of friendship or something. >>

Then again, the DVD extra is called Metus' Revenge, sooo . . . I personally think it's a bit obvious . . .

I don't think the traitor is Berix especially since hearing the

soundbit of his voice from 'The Legend Reborn'...

I recently read 'Raid on Vulcanus' and it REALLY makes me think

that the traitor is Strakk. Like, BIGtime...

If you read it you would know the traitor is an Agori. -_-
