Avohkahs' Sparks Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Anyone think the GB Lab will be in the movie? Quote
ShaddowCroc Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Anyone think the GB Lab will be in the movie? I thought the movie is when the GB lab would be revealed/come into the story? Quote

jala12 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 And that's a reliable source how? I have seen other sites where they list Corey Burton as the voice of Tuma and Paul Eiding as the Skrall when clearly they are not. The sand bat is not in the movie, period. It wasn't in the chapter preview, and Greg said the only Sand Bat appearance would be in the book. Quote

The Iron Knight Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Here's where he got that. (Fixed Link) Your link needed fixin'. I don't believe that source, anyway, it's not in any way credible. Quote

Bundalings Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I just read on Wikipedia that Keith David (Coraline, Halo 2 & 3, Mass Effect, a billion other things) is Tarix in TLR. I'm taking it with a grain of salt 'cause of the source, but if that's true, it's a great choice. ~Bunda Quote
Refia Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Man, what a great clip. The Ackar vs Strakk fight was fantastic. Quote
Mesonak Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Man, what a great clip. The Ackar vs Strakk fight was fantastic. Agreed. That is going to help my music videos SO much... But, Strakk's voice...Is MURDER on my ears. SERIOUSLY. Raanu's too, but to a lesser extent. I didn't think anything could be worse than Berix, but Strakk's voice is. But hey, it's better than the first three movies' voices. :P -Mesonak Quote
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 (edited) Boy, now we know one thing: all generic Agori look like the ones that are released as sets. Ah well, at least Tarduk gets a chance to appear in the movie. And this Vulcanus Arena totally owns the comic version. I really like Ackar now. I've never seen a BIONICLE character do a mid-air flip like that before. And once again, Mata Nui makes a reference to past stories. BTW, what did Raanu say in the end? I couldn't figure it out. Raanu said: "We're just Agori, we're not gonna fight a Glatorian." Quote
The Alchemyst Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Oh man, I loved the voices. Strakk had a Russian Accent? I think it fit well. I liked how Ackar's voice worked in the battle, after Strakk was down. Very Noble and it has the hint of old. Perfect. And then came Raanu's voice, also great. Battle Scenes were fluid, compared to the last 3 movies. What's irking is all the Agori are the same ;_; [-TA-] Quote
jala12 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 (edited) Lol, that IS a little irking. They could have at least put a few other Agori helmets/masks to make them look more different like the crowds in the previous movies, lol. So far I guess it's the crowds and music that the previous movies have over Legend Reborn. Not bad at all. EDIT: Awesome! Tarduk IS in the movie. You can see him sitting beside Berix with Mata-nui and the others. Edited August 3, 2009 by jala12 Quote
The Iron Knight Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 What's irking is all the Agori are the same ;_; Not exactly, though. Metus and Raanu both have blue eyes and shoulder pads as opposed to yellow eyes and none. Quote
Tyranide Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Action was too awesome to be in Bionicle movie. And that was only one of the first fights. I'm officially impressed. I just read on Wikipedia that Keith David (Coraline, Halo 2 & 3, Mass Effect, a billion other things) is Tarix in TLR. I'm taking it with a grain of salt 'cause of the source, but if that's true, it's a great choice. Spawn's voice in Bionicle. I WANT IT TO BE TRUE. But it's Wikipedia, though -_- Quote
ShaddowCroc Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Grrrr. They gave Strakk an accent. That makes me totally angry. D:< Aside from that, Raanu's voice was also disappointing. The Agori all being sets also made me mad. But the action was really cool and comparatively super violent compared to the first three movies, so that might make up for the rest . . . Quote
jala12 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Lol, yeah, actual kicks and strikes that connect. If only we had this type of stuff in the first three films. Quote
Lord-Koji Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I love the Russian accent. It makes Strakk all the cooler. Raanu...isn't as enjoyable, unfortunately. Can't wait for this movie. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Another Kamen Rider fan? DAMN SWEEET!!!!!!! Also, that clip was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was great CGI, the detail put in is magnificent. I love the fighting too, much better than the first three, and the arena was super cool! Strakk's voice fit him, but it's not the best, while Ackar's voice is just pure awesome. I AM LOVING THIS FRIGGIN MOVIE. Anyways, yes, amazing scene. AND TARDUK TOO! Shame all the Agori look the same, but I guess I can get over that. -ZotS Quote
---Vertea--- Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Absolutely LOVED the little fight bit. My only irritation isn't the voices(which are just fine), but the repetition of Raanus and Metus' as well as a general lack of crowd noise. Quote
Refia Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Absolutely LOVED the little fight bit. My only irritation isn't the voices(which are just fine), but the repetition of Raanus and Metus' as well as a general lack of crowd noise. In my opinion, the small crowd was better than the huge one in Mask of Light. It makes it clear that there aren't a lot of Agori, as Greg has said, instead of the hundreds of Matoran that suddenly pop up in Mask of Light that we never saw in any of the media before. I do agree that it's a bit of a dissapointed that they all look the same, especially when there are other Agori in set-form of the fire tribe that could provide different helmet shapes. But all that was made up by the quality of the fight. ^^ Quote
