---Vertea--- Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 In my opinion, the small crowd was better than the huge one in Mask of Light. It makes it clear that there aren't a lot of Agori, as Greg has said, instead of the hundreds of Matoran that suddenly pop up in Mask of Light that we never saw in any of the media before. I do agree that it's a bit of a dissapointed that they all look the same, especially when there are other Agori in set-form of the fire tribe that could provide different helmet shapes. But all that was made up by the quality of the fight. ^^ very true ^^ That fight was excellent. And it's not even the biggest one in the film!!! I can't wait to see the Tuma vs Mata Nui battle, or any of the vehicle scenes. Quote
Bfahome Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 awesum But there had better be a scene between Metus meeting Mata Nui and this in the movie. >.> One thing that does bug me is that Strakk's shoulder armor switches from the front to the side depending on the angle of the shot. Quote

-MZ- Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 At last!!! New chapter of "Riddle of the Great Beings" in BionicleStory.com!!!http://bioniclestory.com/LatestStory/Podcasts/Riddle6.aspx Hmm, this one was kinda short. I was hoping we would learn some more interesting facts in this chapter. Oh well. Quote
Refia Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 It was interesting enough for me. At least we know more about the Element Lords now, and who they were. Quote
---Vertea--- Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I suppose Greg has decided that the exact nature of the ELs will only be hinted at, but never fully known. The description would suggest that the EL of Jungle was made of plant, but there is still the possibility of armour. I like it that way. And yay for Kirbold!!!!! I hope he lives! Quote
Toa Lahka Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 My thoughts on the new clip: -Amazing fight -Am I the only one who noticed Strakk's voice is older Dexter from Dexter's Lab: Ego Trip? -I don't really mind the identical Agori Quote
Front Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I love the Russian accent. It makes Strakk all the cooler. I did not notice which accent he has, but his voice is so nice and deep, very mean. Which seems to fit the character we see fighting against Ackar. Quote
hewkii9 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Wait, so does this mean that Strakk'll have a substantial role in the movie, then? Because I've been under the impression for a while that Strakk wasn't in it. Also, has anyone heard anything on Malum having a presence in the film, then? Oh, yeah, and I like Strakk's voice but Raanu sounds a bit too...fancypants at the end of the clip. Quote
Wrinkledlion X Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 That was a great RotGB chapter. It may be my all-time favorite serial. Quote
Avohkahs' Sparks Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 That was a great RotGB chapter. It may be my all-time favorite serial. Ya, I really liked this one. Quote
Phantoka_Chirox Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I just noticed that there are NO thornax launchers in the movie. think about it. Tuma replaced his with a skrall shield, Mata nui didnt have one, Vorox didnt have one either. soo..? Quote

It's cool Quote
Lord-Koji Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I'm pretty sure Greg once said that the movie was started before the Launcher was decided on, so as such, no Thornax Launchers, hence the shields. Quote
Zarkan Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Incredible new clip. Finally, we have fighting that is comparable to an average action cartoon, complete with clashing weapons, acrobatics, and characters being slammed against rocks. I am curious as to why the arena has lava in it, and I don't like that there's three Agori who look exactly the same, but it still was really great. And, unlike almost everyone here, I like both of the new voices we have heard. Strakk sounds awesome, and Raanu's british accent is certainly interesting (and IMO not anywhere near the badness that is Berix). Overall, I'd say that this is the best clips we've seen of the new movie yet, and it shows more than ever how awesome this new movie is going to be. Also, Riddle of the Great Beings continues to be interesting, as do the Element lords. I really hope we get sets of them in 2010, if we're staying in Bara Magna as I hope. Quote
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I don't know where to ask this, but I'll ask anyway: does anyone have both canister and titan Mata Nui? 'Cause I want to see a pic of canister Mata Nui with the titan sword. Quote
Mesonak Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I don't know where to ask this, but I'll ask anyway: does anyone have both canister and titan Mata Nui? 'Cause I want to see a pic of canister Mata Nui with the titan sword. Nope, sorry. I only have Canister. I can take a picture of the sword with a silver hilt, if you want...? It really looks good. Not too big for the canister either. :) -Mesonak Quote
Front Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I have both Mata Nui's. Do you realise that the weapons the titan holds, are way to big for a canister sized set ? Quote

Shakar Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I have both Mata Nui's. Do you realise that the weapons the titan holds, are way to big for a canister sized set ? Don't really know about the shield, but canister MN has no problems wielding the sword titan MN has. Afterall, Ackar's sword is almost the same design and he looks fine wielding it.Shakar Quote
Refia Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 You know, guys, it's really interesting (imho, of course), to watch Click closely in the new clip we got. It's kinda cute to see him watch the fight between Strakk and Ackar as if he understands what it is all about, and even more interesting is when Mata Nui talks. Click turns to listen to Mata Nui when he says Ackar has the courage of a true Toa, and when Mata Nui later says "He was clearly defeated!" Click can be seen nodding in agreement. What a smart bug, eh? Quote

What a smart bug, eh? Wow....very observant. I re-watched the video, just for that, and sure enough.... It's a nice little thing indeed. I mean, they could've just had Click sitting there, doing nothing. Or just forget to put him in the scene entirely. Quote
Holy Diver Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I have both Mata Nui's. Do you realise that the weapons the titan holds, are way to big for a canister sized set ? I made a replica of the titan sword, it is a bit big for the canister set, but it looks good with him holding it with his Click shield. Quote
S-N Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) I have both Mata Nui's. Do you realise that the weapons the titan holds, are way to big for a canister sized set ? Well, in this pic, Mata Nui's sword looks like it's a bit bigger than Tuma's. It pretty much the same set wise, so it's accurate, even if it does look to big for him. =P Edited August 5, 2009 by S-N Quote
