Thanks for the pics of Kiina. (We've seen most of the others in detail...) I kinda like her. She's funky.

Yeah she is kinda funky xD But she's a very good set actually. And I think that she's a good step toward what we want in terms of custom torsos. If she sells well, LEGO will be encouraged to make more custom torsos, hopefully better ones but still xD She's awesome anyway though.

And how long until the vehicles show up I wonder? I mean, probably end of this month I assume, because they are scheduled for August / September instead of July / August like the canisters always claim to be, so it would make sense for them to come out a month later than the canisters.

Huh, Kiina looks kind of good. The torso is growing on me, and that's a pretty cool trident. The only issue is that the arm/leg fins are only streamlined if she's hurling herself through water in a standing position (see: Tahu Mistika's jets). Also head color :X

Yeah, that is kinda a problem, but she looks good even if it isn't practical xD And the trident is a LOT cooler in person. The spikes are *awesome*. And because of the trident I find the helmet color to be bearable at least.

I personally think the fin armour is he coolest yet. The trident is meh, but I can live with it. the color on the helmet works, surprisingly. I'll definitely pick her up, should I get the chance.

DX Seriously, I don't have a TRU around her, and I can't find them on the Lego shop and only 4 on TRU website (I want to purchase all 6 at once :\) and it's driving me insane looking around for them! DX Someone help meh, please... unless there's no other choice BUT those... :\

I just looked online at TRU and all of the Legends are available, except Mata Nui, who is only temporarily out of stock. Still, even though you want them all at once, this seems to be the closest you'll get if you need them right now.

Agreed, Bunda. Yellow is in desperate need.

Say, what color are Titan Mata Nui's eyes? It better not be a TNG cut piece. It would be glorious if we got a trans blue cut piece, and we rightfully should, so that it matches the smaller scale version.

They seem to be a TNG cut piece. Unfortunately the special edition sets seem to be cutting it down with the recolours, so it's very doubtful that they'd do it now after avoiding it all 2008 when they badly needed recoloured cut eyes.

A damn shame.... I really miss the dark green, dark blue, and the light blue eyes of yore...

They use TNG and TNO eyes because they tend to be the brightest. If you recall, light never shined through the dark green or dark red eyes. Or some others.

As for titan Mata Nui, I have the catalog with its pic in it. The mask is like totally gold.

There are only 3 Trans-Neon colors so far, neither of which is green. They only have Orange, Yellow and Blue, no Green as of yet. Unless one tries to pass Trans-Glow-in-Dark as such, which is really more of a Minty Green under the Blacklight. Flourescing a color, blue-shifts it slightly and so does making that color translucent.

Unless one tries to pass Trans-Glow-in-Dark as such, which is really more of a Minty Green under the Blacklight. Every Toa last year had trans neon green eyes. The Av-Matoran had entirely neon heads, as do Berix, Tarix, and now Kiina.

And don't forget the TNGM.

Actually(although I CAN see the green), I always thought that the Glatorian heads seemed a tad more towards the yellow side.

Me too.... what a classic... And I'd like to see a tad more in the way of Mata Blue. Tarix was cool, but more would be terrific. But definitely Mata green. I have grown rather distasteful of the darker hues, as they do not photograph well and there's just too much of them. And, like always, I am still awaiting the time that LEGO finally decides to go with the fans and make purple again.

A purple and yellow set would be sick.

Well, before we saw the first clear summer pictures, I doubt any of us would have expected a canister set that's predominantely Mata red, so perhaps that's not a far-fectched possibility at all.

Personally, I like the darker green better than Mata green, but I think it's time to add some more variety to the Inika build color palete.

No one expected tan either since it was entirely gone for 5 years, minus the friction pins... disappeared alongside Mata green. Sets like Vorox and Ackar REALLY cheer me up that way. =D

Oh yes, that would be incredible. And I could really imagine that being done in the next year or two - perhaps when (if?) they make sets of the elemental Lords. In fact, that would be a good way to bring back other colors as well. A Water elemental with Dark blue and Mata blue would be awesome.

That was because the stupid Metru head design covered up half the "brain." They glowed fine on the Mata heads.

It's green. It's labeled as green in all the inventory sites, heck, even Lego calls it green. It's green.
