Stauder Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 (edited) Here is my pet..... Hmm... Very interstin breed. 3 Questions (Sorry but I really cant resist) 1. What do you feed it? 2. Do you keep it in a cage? 3. Does it like chewing/buying shoes? At Hinckley - Cute dogs! It seems you keep them inside, Do you? Because they must make a mess as soon as they get into the house! Hinckley Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Here is my pet..... How...sweet? 8-| Makes you sound like kind of an evil mastermind of some sort. Does she know you think of her this way? *wacko* *yoda*: Our rott is quite the athlete so she is very thin. She is also on a restricted diet and has arthritis, she's nine now. So she's getting thinner. She's still happy and healthy, so... That picture of Riley you like so much is when she was chasing snowballs, one of her favorite past times. She gets so confused as to where the ball goes when it hits the snow! :'-) Edit: Martin: sometimes life is all about paw wiping...Edit #2: ROFLMAO, BTW
Stauder Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 *Snip*Edit: Martin: sometimes life is all about paw wiping...Edit #2: ROFLMAO, BTW Martin? You scare me sometimes! Well, At least my doggy learned how to wait by the door instead of rushing in X-D What do you feed them, because you say they are "Spoiled" ?
Hinckley Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Martin? You scare me sometimes! Well, At least my doggy learned how to wait by the door instead of rushing in X-D What do you feed them, because you say they are "Spoiled" ? Are you asking me or TT? :-D :-D :-D Martin, since you asked, Reese and Snickers both have food restrictions, Snickers is allergic to certain proteins and Reese has an auto-immune disorder which makes her system attack complex proteins, so they eat IVD Potato and Duck. Riley eats raw meat and vegetables with some dry food mixed in. Once a week they get white rice. They have lamb shank treats and occasionally get a milk bone. They are spoiled because we pay them SO much attention. Thanks for you interest in my dogs, MARTIN.

xwingyoda Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Oh right french and frogs do not mix. Sorry Yoda! :-( But DO you have any pets? You seem like you would... Pet frogs ?? What the hell is wrong with you X-D !! I love animals but since my two goldfish died when I was very young I didn't want anymore pets !! Oh boy how I loved those little fishies :'-( But I always go to my cousin's home where a lot of animals live together hehe. So I consider mine the time of a week end hehe It varies from Boas, to cats, dogs, parrot, (the monkey is gone though, tks God !!), mice, rats, vietnamese pigs and what have you :-D *yoda*

Where did he even keep it?
xwingyoda Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 I have a place like that too, I call it the zoo 8-| :-P Seriously though, a monkey?! Where did he even keep it? Nan its not a zoo looool !! My uncle just loves animals and lives in a big house in the country hehe !! He had a marmoset (ouistiti in French) that he kept in a cage in the kitchen loool. And in that kitchen he also had a parrot and that bird imitated really well the noise of that monkey |-/ It was like having 2 in the same room loool It was something like that: Its a normal marmoset and not a pygmy one That monkey really smelled terrible looool I really was happy when he got rid of it :-D *yoda*
oo7 Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 I love animals but since my two goldfish died when I was very young I didn't want anymore pets !! Oh boy how I loved those little fishies :'-( I once had some cheap goldfish that were being sold at the pet shop for twenty five cents or so. :-P We had about six of them, they went one by one over the span of four years. Two words: Flush on off! *sing* My father has a mutual acquaintance with a fellow named Michael Steinhardt. He has turned his Mount Kisko (NY) home into a mini zoo. He has raised zebras, camels, all sorts of monkeys, and many exotic others. It's on the verge of insanity, and at the same time pretty cool. :-D

It ate the goldfish, then I got a catsifh, it ate alge, then I got 2 turtles, thye ate Silver... Now only my catfish can survive the turtles (Its big and mean looking...) Flush Off!
Corvus Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) I have three pets. First, my dog, Gadget. She's a mutt of many breeds, so we call her a sheepdog mix. She's nine years old now, and is recovering from a torn ACL. :'-) Look at those eyes! They're blue, if you can't tell. Darn red-eye. |-/ She is a professional begger... It's so hard to resist! :-$ This is Tucker, my cockatiel. He likes our christmas trees... Such a pretty bird, and he LOVES being scratched on the neck! :'-) And then, last and least ( :-P J/K) is my sister's evil cat, Kit. She's actually very pettable, and doesn't object to being picked up in any way... including upside down... She found her christmas present before it was unwrapped... Then she was confined to quarters! >:-) :-D Edited July 24, 2007 by Mr. Mandalorian
Hinckley Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Thanks for sharing! Your dog is so :'-) *wub* cute! Our Rottweiler had a torn ACL and it healed from steroids. They told us she would need surgery and as we were saving up she started to put weight on it again. We call her the Rottweiler on steroids. There's a pic of her a few pages back. Great pets! *sweet*
Corvus Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) We gave her steroids as well. Problem is, she has a 'herder' instinct, and has to follow us everywhere, so she won't lie down and let it heal. |-/ Oh, and do you still think she's cute? :-D (I do) Edited July 24, 2007 by Mr. Mandalorian
Hinckley Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 We gave her steroids as well. Problem is, she has a 'herder' instinct, and has to follow us everywhere, so she won't lie down and let it heal. |-/ Our Shepherd and our Rott are both herders. The Rott leans on you to get you where she wants you and the Shepherd doesn't herd humans but nips at other dogs haunches when she wants them to move. She's the best dog you could imagine. Docile, obedient, smart, loving *wub* but every once in a while if she's playing fetch with a dog who is faster than her she'll just bite his or her leg to get them to move out of her way. She doesn't do it enough for us to point out to her what she's doing wrong, but even when she's just chasing other dogs and wrestling you can see her instincts are to bite the haunches. She's very sweet...
Corvus Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) She used to do that when she was a puppy. As we ran across the lawn, she'd chase us and try to herd us back towards the house. There was lots of tripping... :-D She's so nice. Very laid back, and perfectly comfortable with the other pets. So much so that she even lets the cat steal her bed. Hinckley Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 :-D :-D :-D Mr. Mandalorian, that crazy picture of your dog makes me love her more. *wub* Here's another one of Riley at the beach when a wave surprised her: and my favorite picture of her, intrigued and confused by a monkey: *wub*
