Emperor Claudius Rome Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 For those who don't know, I am the walrus is a song by the Beatles on there album "The magical mystery tour". It was covered by Bonos character in the Beatles based musical "Across the universe". It is said to hold many secrets in it (Many are thought to be hints in the paul is dead conspericy) Discuss the song here Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I don't know about holding many secrets, but it sure holds a lot of crap! Gah, I love the Beatles. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 Together they rock, apart, only paul and john were good alone Quote
jifel Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Together they rock, apart, only paul and john were good alone I never really heard George or Ringo seperate from the band, so i dont know. Anyway, I am the Walrus is IMHO a great song, but not necassarily the best of the beatles. (Let it Be) Still an awesome song that makes me laugh. And as Cpt. Zuloo said, I love the Beatles. jifel Quote

jifel Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 It's certainly better than Revolution 9. Yeah, definitely. Not all the beatles songs were great, but enough were that they still are (one of) the best band(s) in history. jifel Quote
General Armendariz Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Gah, I love the Beatles. I do also love all of there songs. anyone like strawberry fields? I think its called that. Quote
Siegfried Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 I think "The Walrus and the Carpenter" (which what the song is based on) is more significant. It highlights the evil that can be committed by the species. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 Yeah, after all, yor a walrus, and your evil Quote

Most of the Beatle's material was great - their early work brought me into the world of rock, although now it sounds a little weak compared to the other music I listen to - however, some endeavors were a bust, such as the Apple Clothing Store in London and the animated Yellow Submarine movie.... Emperor Claudius Rome Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 At the end if you look at the eggmen, you'll see one of them has the hitler Mustache. Also, some people say you can hear "Paul Mcanrtney is dead" but thats just a story Quote
