AwesomeStar Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Well, I've pre-ordered MW2, and I must say, I cannot wait for it to come out! I've learned a lot about it through various websites, and it looks great! By the way, did anyone notice how in every CoD game Infinity Ward have put teddy bears in there somewhere? It's true, go Google it! Can anyone link me up to the Nazi Zombies backstory? Quote

Found and read it. WOW... thats a mindblowing backstory theory. And really creepy, too! God, it almost seems real, the way the events tie in with our history and the links to what the Nazi's got up to... Wow, thank you for showing me! (P.S. I am making myself a ghillie suit ) ~A.S. Captain REX Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 By the way, did anyone notice how in every CoD game Infinity Ward have put teddy bears in there somewhere? Yeah i found a teddy bear online in one of the houses in overgrown. I tired shooting it, nothing happened, then i drooped a nade on it and it flew out of the house still in one peice . Quote

I pre-ordered (CoD) MW2 last month (for PC) I'm annoyed that theres no special editions for PC though. I just wish they'd do something diffrent as in. Kinda getting sick of SAS, Navy Seals, USMC ect... What about a less known special forces group? Like NZSAS, SASR, GSG-9 ect... theres other SF units in the world besides SAS & Seals. Same with WWII. There were other armies, What about a campaign where you have to defend Finland from the Soviets or as Germany fighting the soviets Or a British Vs Italians in the desert or in Sicily. Not just US all the time, it gets boring. Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 COD focuses more so on the well know Special Forces. I do, however, wish that you could play as someone other than Russian or American throughout the campaigns though. Maybe play as the Nazis or Imperials or something else, because, as you know, all stories have two sides. -War doesn't determine who's right, only who's left. P.S. If you wanna play COD sometime on 360, send me a friend request. (GT's in my sig) Quote
iamded Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Maybe play as the Nazis or Imperials or something else, because, as you know, all stories have two sides. This is what I liked about the Shi No Numa zombies map, instead of all 4 players being American, you got one of each race from the campaigns. And they each have their own personality and back stories too, which was fun to see. Still waiting for Der Reise to be released on the PC. I want to use the Pack-a-Punch thingy! I found the meteorite in Shi No Numa, that was neat too. ~Peace Quote
Commander Assassin Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Does anyone here own COD: Road to Victories? I am thinking about buying that game, but don't want to spend the money if it is not worth it. Quote
ADHO15 Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 The new Call of Duty game 'Modern Warfare 2' was released today. What does everybody think? Personally, I think it's much better than CoD 4 and 5 (as you'd expect). I haven't started the campaign yet, just played online. It seems much bigger and more realistic and I can't wait to explore the rest of it. Quote

That's my only complaint, though. Now I know why I've been chanting "MowWow" for the past week... Quote
Wouwie Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Personally, I think it's a bit over hyped. But it's a great game, especially some stealthy missions. I haven't played online yet because my xbox don't have an internet connection yet Quote
harrysnapperorgans Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Are any of these available on Wii? Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I know that COD 3, 4 and World at War are on the Wii, and am fairly certain that COD:MW2 will be as well. 1, 2, and the expansions were available on the GameCube, so you could probably find those cheap. (Just make sure you get a GC controller and memory card.) I managed to find some MW2s at the PX yesterday, but they were all for the PS3, and they don't know when they will be getting anymore in for the 360. Hopefully soon, though. -'Skintas Quote

I agree, I had massive expectations I was kind of let down , Singleplayer seemed to short, And theres so many twists in the plot(not a bad thing) Especially the one near the end. Also for those who havnt finished singleplayer, When you finish it, it hints that it could be continued. (MW3 anyone?) Are any of these available on Wii? CoD4 will be available on Wii soon. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! My friend from Vegas is coming up tomorrow, and he's brining his PS3 with him so we can play it! He's probably beat it by now, so that means he's probably unlocked the special co-op mode or whatever. He ytold me there was a level where you defend a Burger King, and one where you get to shoot civilians at an airport! Oh boy! Quote

(you can unlock missions by playing them) Yes you defend a "Burger Town" (they obviously cant call it burger king) The civilian one you can skip apparently. Gamer Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I found MW2 in my local store but it is for PS3.In MW1 what is the deal when you find all of the laptops is there a special level or something. Gamer. Quote

It's just for achievements/trophys. I have only played COD4, and I love it, but the campaign seems way too short. The multiplayer makes up for it IMO, as according to my stats I've played it for about 4 days. I still haven't gotten MW2, as I'm too cheap to spend $60 on a game. I'll wait until I can get it for $40-ish. Quote

The graphics are amazing, and while the campaign is short, I am not very good so it has taken me a while to beat. My one big complaint is that you can't shoot while holding a riot shield. I have only played a few Spec-Ops games, and they are pretty fun. I like how they are co-op, which adds a lot to the game. Quote

Well, I got COD4 on Ebay for $20 a few months ago. And a pre-owned MW2 at GameStop is $50, so I might get one there. Spec-ops sounds like a lot of a fun, mainly because co-op campaign is a must for me, as my friends are over often and we can only play Halo cooperatively. Quote

It seems much bigger and more realistic and I can't wait to explore the rest of it. My brother bought the game when it came out on Tuesday for $50 USD, $10 off the original price! Now that he's finished the campaign (which he says is pretty short, maybe around 5 hours), he says that it's a pretty good game. The new killstreaks (which you can see here) are very cool, and the new items (riot shield, throwing knives, etc.) are great additions to the game. The new modes and co-op missions seem very fun, too, especially the third-person mode! I didn't get to play it, but I don't mind since the only FPS game that I like is Team Fortress 2. EDIT: On a side note, has anyone gotten a tactical nuke yet? Edited November 16, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
