I think that we should perhaps go outside and look in the barrels. Oh wait...

In other news, has anyone seen that Johnson Rod? I'm starting to get a craving... for eggos! :sweet: Is anyone else hungry, 'cause I could sure do with something to eat.

The group decides to have a look at the barrels outside the office. There is a small red one, a small blue one, a larger grey one, as well as a small white fuel tank marked diesel fuel. You can not tell if the fuel tank is empty or not.

I've got a small airplane nearby, that I've been building over the last year. It's my hobby you know? (winks to the passengers from the Emerald whispering "gonna get out of Willoughby").

It fits four if anyone wants to take a little ride.

I'd like to try to pick up the fuel tank to see if it's filled.

I'd advise not getting on a plane with him, folks. Once, when he was flying a woman around town, his plane became a dog, and they both feel out of the sky. He landed on the dog, and was safe, but the woman died. I think it was planed to kill the woman. He's part of the Town Council!

Do you just make this stuff up on the spot or do you plan it all out? I just finished my plane and I've flown it once. By myself too. But yeah, if anyone wants a ride to see anything, just let me know.

Noooo, two two! Two two twain! We hab bloken two two!

That was odd. :look:

Somebody take the peg off his tongue before we all go mad :hmpf:

Trust me, he already has.

Could you please answer my questions? Town council member or not, this information is very valuable. I promise not to kill you (like you tried to do to Max) if you share.

Ah, thanks. So you volunteer, huh? Who was here lately, namely on May 6th? Did anyone send out 12 letters at the same time? Please try to remember, George, as this information could be extremely useful.

I wonder if there is a way to look inside the barrels? If there is, I'd like to try it (opening the lid, poking a hole, etc.).

By the way, where is everybody? Herman, Eleanor, and Arin haven't said anything in a while.

I'm here, I'm just trying to find out what use is all this broken junk to us. :hmpf_bad: I have to agree with the ones-and-zeroes, they must mean the switch triggers.

And there's no way I'm going on the same plane as Kill'n'Chill-George!

Does one of you have a R/C plane/car? Maybe we can install it on the plane to make it an UAV...With a camera it would be even better..

The small diesel fuel tank appears to be rather heavy - perhaps half full.

The lids easily lift off.

Jim opens the larger grey barrel discovering a canister filled with oil.

Opening the red barrel, he discovers a small axe/hatchet with some red paint on the blade.

The blue barrel appears to be empty, but something is definately toward the bottom of the barrel. What could it be? It looks like a small cassette tape.

I would like to inspect the axe/hatchet closely, ie., the paint, any other features, etc. and then reach down to the bottom of that barrel and see if there is anything there.

Posted
I'd like to reach down to get the cassette, then go back inside and play it on the machine.

And after he's done, I'd like to flip the tape over and play the other side. Maybe there's a secret message. It's like Revolution #9. How does it go again, Eleanor?

I'm not so sure that's red paint on the axe... :look:

I'd like to casually shove Charlie in the barrel as he reaches for the cassette. I'd then like to laugh.

The boom-box does not seem to play the cassette tape, just "garbling" the words in an extemely slow manner.

The little paint on the hatchet is definately red paint that must have come off whatever item the hatchet had contact with. The barrel is otherwise empty.

WHAT? Why are you guys looking at me?

And I'd like to "accidentally" kick Greaseman in the balls as he pushes me in the barrel. Then laugh at him.

Okay boys! That's enough of that play'n grab @$$ with each other - buncha City Sissies!

Since you're facing the barrel and leaning over it, it's unlikely you could make that kick. I could, on the other hand, tell you where I could put this johnson rod.

Actually, I'd kick my leg up backwards..... Doofus

How about the other side? If not, I'd like to open up the cassette and check that the actual tape is pulled taut.

The radio is red right? The axe could have been used to break it, then placed in the barrel.

I'm sure there are better methods to smashing a radio than with an axe. Why would someone leave evidence when they could just throw the radio on the ground? Plus, I don't think the radio's paint would come off that easily- it might not even be painted, but actual red plastic.

Posted

Hmm. I'll hold on to this in case we meet lumberjacks. Then I can talk lumberjack with them. :sweet:

I think that we should go with the assumption that the red on the axe is paint - Alex told us it was definitely that.

I also think that we should consider Willy's thought, that the axe had smashed against the radio. That's why I'd like to now check the radio for any signs of paint loss and compare the color of the paint on the axe to that of the radio.

Did someone say Johnson Rod? :look: *looks around* ( )

I'd like to check the airstrip for any letters or anything that might've fallen there.... (you never know  )

Posted

The paint on the axe/hatchet appears to be the same from the metal radio.

Neither side of the boom-box plays the cassette, even when flipping it on both sides.

Do you wish to go to the airstrip now or look around some more? George seems to know the way.

Posted

Okay, I guess you were right, Mayor, sorry about that. But who is dumb enough to just leave evidence like that?

I agree that we should check out the airstrip while we're here. where did you say that plane was, George?
