dabulls03 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Hi! I'm dabulls03 and I live in the state of Oregon in the USA. Here is my story... When I was a child I was in LOVE with LEGO. I had 5 massive bins of LEGO pieces and all I ever got for my birthdays and christmas were LEGO sets. I spent all my time building various creations and building, taking apart, and rebuilding LEGO systems' sets. Around the age of 12, my obsession with LEGO decreased, and a long LEGO drought occured. It wasn't until the beggining of 2009, when I saw the cover of one of my younger brothers LEGO club magazines, that my obsession caught fire again. As I glanced over at the cover of the magazine, I saw a lime green vehicle with a massive, rotating drill starring me in the face. "Oh My God!!! Its a reincarnation of ROCK RAIDERS!" I thought as I looked at the cover. Immediatly, I had a flash back of my childhood days playing with one of my most favorite LEGO themes of all time. I flipped through the issue and admired many more awsome mining vehicles, and yes, cute litttle rock monsters too! I had to know more about this awsome new LEGO theme titled POWER MINERS. And that is how I stumbled upon Eurobricks. Thank God for the internet. After lurking around for a couple months, I finally decided to become a member so that I could enter my Power miners inspired AT-RT into the invasion contest. The End Quote
