This final comment in the first post says it all to me.

It's inspired by DMAC's model/design and nothing's wrong with that.

No ownership over design is claimed and inspiration is noted.

Now I can understand (and see) that a lot of Polish members stand up for what they think is right, but since the inspirational source has been noted in the first post and since the exterior details are not entirely similar, then how about we leave it at that?

Have you any proof, that DMAC's copied your shuttle?

a couple of points,

1. you cannot pm me as i blocked you.

2. the pm saying Dmac copied mine is called Taking the p##s, pulling your chain, winding you up.

in other words i don't care what you say about my moc i built it, albeit based on Dmacs design obviously and tweaked here and there, yes reverse engineered just like my AT-AT is and there are no instructions for that either.

what i can say is that the lego group have copied mine and Dmacs shuttle and in my opinion they have made it better apart from the cockpit which is still wrong. i just hope Dmac gets a free ucs shuttle when it is released unless TLG asjed him first :sceptic:

Yeah, they're being stupid trolls and really should be banned. :hmpf_bad: There are major differences. I think these guys are missing the point:its the same friggin ship of course it's going to look very similar. Even so, there are some differences.

I'm not going into who made things first or who copied who but...

Isn't it obvious that if you build something that is documented to extend and there are loads of photo's of it you wind up with a shuttle that has about the same look ?

There's a clear line between having a valid argument and trolling. Some criteria oftrolling are:

Improper grammar (mostly Filozof)

Saying the same thing over and over again with out ("stop saying it's "YOUR ship!")

Not analyzing evidence put forth (just posting pics and then saying "LOOK HE TOTALLY COPIED")

Using clever ways just to piss people off (MOC-My Own Copy, MSC-My Stolen Creation)

I can't agree with you more now can we just end this arguement?

Cavegod is an amazing MOCer (hence the MOC expert tag) and he took inspiration from anothers MOC, he did not steal he made his own MOC and I think he should be entitled to base his MOC off someone elses its not like Dmac's shuttle is copyright or anything.

And Cavegod gave credit to Dmac in the first post of the topic.

Cavegod has done nothing wrong so I suggest you stop accusing him of ''stealing'' Dmac's shuttle because he didn't.

You guys just can't appreciate that Cavegod is an amazing MOCer.

I rest my case.
