Bingo. I'm selling one on Ebay now for 74,99€ minimum for anyone who doesn't like to wait up to September. Why 5€ more? Because I bought it in Holland yet I live in Germany...

I think this set is just showing that the LEGO Star Wars group has totally lost there creativity. I am not surprised that we get another "redesign" even though it is not really a redesign, but an old set with some new minifigs, talking about old wine on new bottles. I have the problem that I am an collecter that needs every LEGO Star Wars set, and so I have to buy this thing.

I hope 2007 gives us some really new sets, but I doubt it.

Europeans boxes do not show the piece count ;-)

I think its roughly 100 pieces less than the Skave1 !!

Remember two things:

- Sets are much cheaper in the US than in Europe, so it'll probably be around $50, maybe less.

- European sets don't have piece counts. But I believe the piece count is 437 pieces.

Wow, I didn't know europeans didn't get peice counts, does it say it anywhere else? Although I did know that the US sets are cheaper than European ones. Hmm, 437, thanks. ;-)

I did originally post that I wouldn't get this set. But with the option to make a Wedge Red 3, I may do, if its cheap enough. Could be part of quite a nice fleet.

A thought occurs: We wanted Hoth sets and this is a Hoth set.

A further though occurs: We wanted a Wedge and now we've got a Wedge.

OK, we're all underwhelmed by it, but LEGO have given us what we wanted.

Hmm, well if they were gonna put Wedge in this set , they could have at least gave us another astromech droid.

btw, if you want a very close mock up of wedge, you can try hikaru's head. the problem though it is a yellow head not flesh tone. :-P (plus the eyes are funny).

besides, they didn't have to create the xwing once again in order to release leia in a smaller lego set. they could have designed a new set all together...

yesterday i found the new catalog in a store, but there is no x-wing for the next half year. Its an exclusiv set for TRU and S@h? Good night

I myself don't mind this new set. Mostly because I don't have the Falcon, so no Leia, or Han and the only X-wing I have is the original (still my favourite one) So I think when this comes out in Canada I may pick it up on sale.

As for the new Tie UCS. I work at my local lego store so I'll see if I can dig up a pic of it...no gaurentees though.

Is anyone concerned that this set will devalue their Millennium Falcon?
