Since its a Hoth Hangar set, those figs do make sense ;-) What no C3PO ?? :-D

Like I said, if they want to pony up the minifigs, then bring it on! Maybe we'll all get our redesigned TIE Bomber which includes ancillary minifigs such as Tusken Raider, Watto, Corde, Dex, Jabba and Lando... :-D

Whatever they want from the OT but no crappy figs from the PT (more gungans anyone ?? :-D ) !! They can even mix all the episodes if they wish as long as we have cool figs. Ok Ewoks in the Batlle of Hoth and snowies in the Cantina would look odd, but you know, we crave mFs so... ;-)

Since its a Hoth base version, a good possibility is having remakes of the 4504 Falcon Leia & Han

Luke would be the regular pilot but in peach, and Chewie would be in the new Reddish Brown.

A Hoth version is weird if you ask me !! I would have preferred a Yavin one with the First Falcon Leia in peach *wub*

Wow 6 figs for an xwing does seem extreme to me, but nothing surprises me more where legos concerned these days.

I like many others would love to have a taun taun included and even a wampa but it seems that lego just dont want to do them, at least not yet anyway.

Yoda is correct. Han and Leia will be the Hoth versions and look will be in his orange flight suit. This does disappoint me, as I would have much preferred ANH Han and Leia figs, since I've already got the ESB ones.

so, basically, this is an "imperial shuttle kinda set", so we'll have a slightly, or not even at all, modified xwing + a buch of minifigs... I think Lego assumed that we'd all want more leias, hans, and orange pilot suits... based on prices of BL, that's a correct assumption.

Maybe LEGO are trying to give us what we want - LOTS of minifigs, but in a way that won't cause agro. Be grateful!

Now I'll wait for the complaints - yeah, but another LUKE, another HAN. Another C-3PO. As I said, be grateful and accept that new molds would up the price and give you something else to moan about.

My prediction of when we will see pics is around 13th July, based on what LEGO did last year and when Comic-Con is.

I for one wouldnt call this legos new way of getting us more figs at all, firstly the sailbarge had the right amount of figs for the price just look at other sets around that price like the clone tank, Lego have always thrown in more figs for larger sets.

As for complaints about figs well i for one think that its a fair comment, SW is known for such a wide range of aliens etc and yet lego have barely scratched the surface. I want more new figs not just the same old ones in peach color, hell i would even be satisfied if the figs we have already at least came with different bodys like a hoth luke or a general lando etc.

The new xwing set sounds like a set thats been thrown together by lego in an attempt to make yet more cash, i also thought the same about the inspection set as we were given most of that set in other sets throughout the years. Now im not trying to bash that set as its a good idea for newbies but what im trying to point out is that there was nothing new about it save from the imperial buggy things.

What made the sets from ep 3 so good for me is that not only did we get new figs but we also got new vehicles also.

having more alien mf is costly since lego parts are mold based. more han and leia is only natural. they are trying to squeeze every dime and penny from the molds. i like to see more stormtroopers, snowtroopers or generic rebel soldiers. :-P

you shouldn't really complain about more han and leia. you can always sell them as generic lego city folks. if you remove the artic hoods, i'm sure they will fit right in. you even have exotic dancers from the bikini leia from the sail barge set. :-P maybe you can make a lego version of the red light district of a city with XXX and peep shops! :-P

Also, LEGO have to pay Lucasfilm money each time they make a new minifig for the rights to that character. I'm pretty happy with the amount of new figs LEGO gives us. This year we had an A-wing mechanic, Ten Numb, IG-88, Dengar, a Bespin Guard, flesh Luke, Han and Leia, Lando, a black Astomech Droid, Tarkin and possibily Wedge. That seems like more than enough to me ;-)

As for the X-wing, it seems like the most logical choice for a set, since the release of the new OT DVDs and LSW video game will make it sell.

i also want more new sets and not only redesigns... i would pay more for a set with new minifigs. If I look to my colelction, i notice that we need more new stuff like the ISD und sailbarge ;) The flesh leia and han you can buy with the falcon in the stores, more new figs please :)

Well apparently the 6212 X-wing will be Hoth-based, and will most likely include R2-D2, Chewie, Han, Leia, Luke and another pilot, maybe Wedge.

Though I like the fig selection (not too sure about another R2 w/out 3PO) I'm worried that, as mentioned, we won't be getting any Taun Taun or "base" like features. Don't get me wrong, I love fleshies and the chance to have more but really, I think more fans would be pleased with Luke, Han, and R2 as long as Han came with a Taun Taun. If no type of alien, ex. Taun Taun/Wampa are released in this set, I doubt we'll ever see one...
