oo7 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Hey, If there are going to be new guns in the 07 star wars why do the characters in LSW2 still wield those megablocking megaphones? Quote
Vader Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Hey, If there are going to be new guns in the 07 star wars why do the characters in LSW2 still wield those megablocking megaphones? Could be because this game was planned some time ago before lego decided to chnge them, or hopefully it will be an extra to achieve through points like in the last game where you could buy certain items. The new clone packs are a real step forward and even though im disapointed about the lack of new figs i will happily say well done to lego for giving us a great line up for the start of the year. Morten Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Sounds really nice with the new sets. As allways I am most interested in the "classic" sets, but the Armybuilder sets sounds good too. New ATST pilot is great, one problem is that, now we have so get the new pilot for the old ATST, propably very expensive on Bricklink. New Weapons is nice. Is there any change some guy (Little amrory) out there will make copies (I now it Quote

Morten Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Caslling consumers service can get you 2-3 weapons, when we ar talking 100+, I think it is difficult to get convince them that you bought that many sets with a missing weapon. Morten Quote
johnsocal Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 why is it in 2D??? Because the movies are in 2D ;-) ........and it's a cheap low budget Deathstar. Quote

Lord Thrawn Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Plus, it's dishonest abusing the part replacement. Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 This is really neat! I can't wait to see the clone artillery gun and the new clones. My question is about the new weapons. Lego is opposed to violence, what will happen when they start designing accurate star wars weaponry instead of using loudspeakers? I also wonder about the price point for these sets. the battle packs are most likely going to be $15-$30 What do you guys think? Quote

Darth_Ewok Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Oh, I never got that far into the thread, had some chores to finish :-/ That's even better! X-D I am now officially going to buy thousands of those things Quote

Wasn't it determined that the price for the battlepacks would be closer to $10US? Yes, I believe SAM89 did some analysis and determined that pricing would be something along the lines of: 7654 - Droids Battle Pack - $10 7655 - Clone Troopers Battle Pack - $10 7656 - General Grievous' Starfighter - $20 7657 - AT-ST - $20 7658 - Y-wing Fighter - $35 7659 - Imperial Landing Craft - $50 ^^^ above info is credited to SAM89 Which if true would be a steal for the battle packs. I mean seriously, these things are going to sell like crazy! Quote
Dino_Bot Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 I really don't care about the others except Grievous'ship, and the battle packs, maybe the walker...But...they'd be cheap...I'd buy them all if it costed that. Quote
Legoman Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 this is just getting better and better.i might have to get a few of those battlepacks (well at leat 5 of the droid packs anyway)sorry it has just fully pulled me in now :-/ :-/ :-P :-X :-| Quote
Hobbes Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Is that a battle pack? Anything smaller just wouldn't do it for me... Quote
Dino_Bot Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 I'd like an army that size, but of Super Battle droids :-D but thats near impossible. Quote

I think that TLC might be a bit leanient on this new weaponery like they were with the Batman line. As Star Wars is space fantasy and all. We all know that Laser guns aren't real, so I think that may be Lego's excuse. Quote

So are Castle sets, Wild West sets, Pirates sets, etc. Almost all themes had weapons, so why are people whining about Batman's weapons? Quote
