Andrex Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 W00t! Naboo Starfighter, and MTT! And a Hyperdrive Ring sounds promising! ^^ Great to see more sets. Quote
Ras 74 Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Wow! if those news is true! I would love a Booster-ring! Allthough I got me own allready, but would love to see what LEGO can create. Ohh... a pic? Can some moderator make that pic a bit smaller?? Edited by TT, No Problem Quote
UltraPrime Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 That's pretty good. I'm betting it is beter than the one we will get. Got any pics of it with starfighter? Quote
androodeetoo Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 That's REALLY REALLY great. Usually when i see MOC's there is some element that kinda takes you out of it. Not this case with this jump ring...excellent work. Quote
The Executive Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Looks like we're are getting our first prequel remakes. I'm so glad they decided to redo the MTT, the last one I had fell apart when I looked at it funny.I just hope its more stable then the original. My fingers are still crossed for a epi 3 set with magnaguards. Ras 74 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I wonder too...I believe Obi-Wan used that neat-o jump ring in both ep2 (when he went after Jango) AND ep3 (when he goes after Grevious). That is 2 different "Rings". The one in Ep II. is the one I built. The second one from Ep. III is simular but with 4 smaller engines added. One on each side of the bigger ones that is seen on the Ep. II "Ring". Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Also, the EP3 ring is dark blue 8- Quote
ReZourceman Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Sweet! A Jedi Starfightrer with Warp ring thing...thats awesome news! I hope its the Episode 2 one. And that MOC is great dude! Quote
sam89 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Firstly, yes, I've finally returned after a week away ;-) Secondly, I believe this is only PART of the Summer line up. But someone on FBTB posted the prices: 7660 Naboo to fighter (about 38 Quote
UltraPrime Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Welcome back :) I'm eagerly awaiting pics now... Quote
dunamis Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 What does that MTT price equate to in USD? Are we talking Sailbarge big, ISD big or Sandcrawler big? That kind of makes sense because if it follows the general release schedule they need at least one big set in the summer like the ISD from last year. A REALLY BIG MTT could be a nice set. It could have 10 figs (plus you could add more from the battle pack) and maybe a room for a few droid speeder bikes (sorry I forgot the name). I suspect you are correct in that this is only a partial list. 2006 gave us five sets in the spring/summer: ISD, Sailbarge, AT-ST, X-wing and TIE Advanced. If 2007 is similar, hopefully we will see two more UCS sets (please be a Falcon). This new pricing info has changed my mind about the MTT. Quote
mutley777 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Well that euro price in france is the same as the new UCS tie advance so $100 or Quote

mutley777 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 don't dismiss it to quickly guys as this guy has a great track record for news on fbtb! Quote
Starwars4J Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I'll remain optimistically skeptical until I see some more contrete proof. Personally I hoped the HDR looked a little nicer than that, anyway ;-) Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 OK chiukeung just proved my theory wrong :-D That ring is superb, and I'm a bit disappointed that they did not touch the JSF ;-) Lets hope you are right though ;-) BTW, welcome to EB ;-) I'm glad you decided to join us ;-) Another familiar face from FBTB :-D *yoda* Quote
HJR-Holland Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I'm calling BS on the ringpic; that's NOT an official LEGO pic. This is the truedimensions hyperdrive ring, and I've built one of those... Quote

dunamis Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Chiukeung does have an excellent reputation on FBTB. However, I'm almost positive that brickshelf gallery has been around at least a year (I've seen it many times before.) The model is quite excellent BTW... I guess we'll wait for further updates from Chiukeung or other sources... Quote
