mutley777 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Mutley, its way sexier than a MTT I must say :-P yes it is. but look at all those seats in the back! dying to be filled with clones! >:-) Quote
Ras 74 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 But if we get the Ep II Booster Ring we can easily build and moc one to become like the Ep III one... and vise versa as well. That is my intension. If you look at my Booster Ring I have a bit of problem to fix the sections. That is why I have to hold the stupid construction in my hands. If I put it down it will break and go into thousands of pieces. I have a solution to this problem, and I really hope TLC has one way to not make this a flimsy and bulky set as True Dimensions. Quote
DoubleT Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Dont you think that the red guard from the set, is the Emperor elite troops, that he uses in dangerous situations.. They are the same Color red like the Imperial Guards.. Heck they might be Imperiel Gaurds in Combat uniform.... Just an idea And Ras like your idea, its in the spirit of Lego.. .But still would love a Episode 3 JSF Obi ship ;-) Quote
Ras 74 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Well it is hard to say. Since the MTT and the Naboo fighter clearly is from Ep. I, there is nothing saying it must be the booster ring from Ep. II. For me TLC might gladly do the Ep. III Ring. It will be easier to moc that ring into a Ep. II one :-) edit* he he 501 posts... matching my avatar ;-) Quote
captaintau Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 And I never understood why the lightsabers have to be so steriotypical, All the "good" Jedi have a blue or green saber, all the "bad" jedi have a red saber, and the only African-American guy gets the only purple saber??? In the Post-OT era, Leia uses a red-bladed Lightsaber and there's been no hint of her going to the dark side. Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 yes it is. but look at all those seats in the back! dying to be filled with clones! >:-) lol, a dream come true! :-P Won't happen though... :-/ Quote
The Executive Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I still think TLC should have made new battle droid arms with vertical grips like in LEGO STAR WARS, it makes them look less ugly *wacko* . Quote
Dino_Bot Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 OMG...Like...GG's ship is awesome. And the MTT...I've ALWAYS wanted one. ALWAYS. Like...next year will rock. Quote
JoeMI6 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 This new set info sounds great. I'd like a JSF with booster ring, it'd be very cool. As for shooting mechanisms; they can be pretty annoying, but they can easily be modded out. Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 TLC does seem to like those shooting things a little too much don't they :-/ bionicle, knights kingdom, alpha team, exo-force and countless others have had them... Quote

Scouty Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I don't think that it's been confirmed yet ;-) I'm personally hoping for Obi-wan's Dark Blue ROTS starfighter. Hopefully we could get that bronze droid head from Obi-Wans Utapau JSF *wub* Quote
Starwars4J Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 But droid heads without the corresponding bodies frustrate me >_< so I'd rather get a red droid body, or them include an extra bronze body with the bronze head for when the droid is out of the ship (which I think they should have done all along) Quote
vahkimetru Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 you know what would be awesome. If when you remove the giant mf's heads, there were loads of minifigure Stormtroopers inside. Quote
Zane Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 It's only 6 inches high...you could barely fit one in. Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 SIXTY-FIVE DOLLARS. Are they insane? *wacko* But they look nice. I'll give them that. *y* Quote
vahkimetru Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 It's only 6 inches high...you could barely fit one in. Yes, but MFs are less then 2 in high. Also account for the entire volume of the maquette. Quote

JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I thought $65 was okay until Zane pointed out they're only 6 inches tall. My god. Quote
