That could be quite true. It may be the way lego got around the figure set licence by making it shop@home only!

Do you mean that lego doesn't have a license for making sets with only SW figures?

there is some debate about this, but apparently the company that make the real figure collection complained when the first wave of minifig packs came out. They said it was a direct threat to their market. *wacko*

Your right mutley, thats why these sets have vehicles in them so as to get around the problem.

I don't think the MFpacks will be exclusives. Would be really bad *vader*

Probably LEGO got the rights for producing MFpacks when they extended their SW-license *yoda*

Vaders_son (who wants MFpacks as fast as possible *wub* )

Probably the person who bought the stuff was cheated by the text that said they were exclusives and so on.

If the Person didn't knew they'll come out in a couple of days (hopefully) he might have thought of making a good deal *wacko*

I think that whoever bought that knew that they would be released soon. Some people are willing to pay a lot extra to have something early. I remember an ISD Ebay auction last year that went really high.

I'm still waiting to even see any of the '07 sets on shelves here in Spokane, Washington. Usually I preorder the sets through SAH, only to see them gracing shelves at Toys-R-Us the very same week. So, this year I decided to exercise a little jedi-style patience. To my insurmountable sadness, I fear I probably won't see them now until the end of Dec, beginning of Jan. :-( I've also checked the department stores in the area, to no avail. Sometimes, patience is a virtue best locked up in a titanium vault, coated in concrete 2 meters thick, and deposited in the very deepest fissure of the Marianas Trench.

M'Kyuun same here! I'm waiting to go to Spokane to track them down! such trip will probably take place in 6 days, I live in Pullman WA, I am confident that there might be some of these in Lewiston ID right now. Usually they pop up 'till the end of the year (which is pointless...)But we'll keep trying!

I really want Grievous'ship.

The "vehicles", as you may call them, are just thrown in there to make the minifig creators happy and that it's just not a fig-pack. Yeah, figs+guns make up *sweet* .
