sam89 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 That and a redesigned AT-ST !! Come on '07, bring us those two goodies from Hoth ;-) !! I mean, lets take an off topic brake and think about it this way: '07 will doubtfully see any new sets from ROTJ '06 already had loads of them !!) So, they have a choice between ANH or ESB (its only logic). What can they do from ANH: another Falcon ? Nan, too early and the next redesign Falcon should be from ROTJ (with a new Lando and Nien Nunb). And I think its too early for a new Cantina and speeder (probably in '08). The only set they could redesign is that bloody droid escape pod with another R2 and C3PO :-X I also think that there's a possibility LEGO could release an Imperial Landing Craft (seen here). This is because you can see a LEGO designer designing one here (on the table and on the screen): Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Tks Sam for the heads up ;-) An Imperial Transport would be good, but the problem I see is that it may ressemble too much the Imperial Shuttle (hehe). That would reallly be good if TLC doesn't forget the pilot MF to fly that thing :-D Anyhow, I can't wait for news on the '07 line :-) *yoda* Quote
tillier Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 i dont think this means the ISD/sailbarge as they are out now http://www.gamesradar.com/gb/xbox360/game/...§ionId=1006 Quote
sam89 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 And, just too clean out any remaining change from your wallet, Lego will produce a new range of Wars toys, also timed to match the games' mid-September release. Hmmmm 8- Quote

Vader Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Well i dont mind lego doing rereleases just as long as theres a vast improvement on the original and also as long as we get lots of new sets. Quote
captaintau Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Put me down for one! Of all the OT sets, I really think this one needs a re-release. My mate has it (the only set he has that I haven't) and it looks sooooo impressive. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I doubt I'd buy one unless I found it on a really good discount, like I did my current AT-AT. But I think everyone would love one, and I'd like to look at the pics, so yeah! Why not? Quote

vahkimetru Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 But why not an AT-ST for less money? You can always buy another AT-At, but think of a redesigned AT-ST. Second that, more!!!! The following is just ideas and not real: Blizzard Force $24.99 The AT-ST is on the march, enforcing the Imperial Blizzard Force's cruel reign of terror! Flanking it is the speedy speeder bike, and E-WEB blaster. Includes two Snowtroopers, two AT-ST drivers, speeder bike, AT-ST, and E-WEB blaster. and for all those thinking of the landing craft: Landing Craft $59.99 Launch a platoon of troopers with the Imperial Landing Craft! Find droids on Tatooine, or launchy an attack on Endor! Plus, create your own adventures and conquer the galaxy! With two speeder bikes, 10 troopers in all, plus a pilot, you're ready to destroy the Rebellion and win the war! Quote
Morten Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Is it me who is not remerbering correct or is this emperial landing craft ever shown in the movies? Off course LEGO could do it even thow it Quote
UltraPrime Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Was it in Return of the Jedi, or am I remembering wrong? Think I'll watch the OT again this week, been a while! Quote
Andrex Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I'd love this to be true, I've been after this set for ages! Also, there was a slightly modified version on the LSW2 trailer, so it is likely. Let's wait and see what happens, but I hope what I have read is correct :-D Quote
mutley777 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 i think you see the imperial landing craft in ANH SE when then imperials are searching the escape pod crash site. Quote

The Kid Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Steve (aka speaknspell over at FBTB) has quashed these rumours. :'-( Well, we can always hope, and he didn't say anything about the new sets in September thing not being true. And you never know, there might not be a re-release of the AT-AT but a re-design. :-P ;-) http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?p=181907#181907 Quote
SuvieD Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 At-St here we come! I don't really think we need a new At-At yet, before 2011 yes, but not yet. Though my true hope is in that we will finally get some of the characters from Star Wars as minifigures. Panda or rebel troops would be so awesome. Besides we already have the skiff which is huge in it and hopefully we will get a few more that tie in. Quote
Dino_Bot Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Oh God not again...they're overdoing it. Besides, they're so effing expensive... Quote

BryanKinkel Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Help LEGO pick the next UCS set. Which will it be? R2-D2? Vulture Droid? FX-6? How about an electronic AT-AT that actually walks? News and photos at: http://www.starwars.com/collecting/news/le...ws20060606.html -- Bryan Quote
Deinonychus Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 The hell? These are our choices? There's really no choice at all is there (Votes Vulture Droid) Quote
Exo-Master Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Sweet!!! So AT-AT. That's gonna' be so cool! If it happens, of course... ~Exo-Master Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Tks for the news BryanKinkel, Please continue your discussion in that thread where I added EB's poll booth with a "none of the above" option !! Tks in advance ;-) *yoda* Quote
mutley777 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 a quote here from the lucasfilm press room (full page) Debuting day-and-date with the individual Star Wars Trilogy DVDs and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy are new lines of licensed Star Wars merchandise and toys. Exciting new offerings from the popular Star Wars collections of Hasbro and LEGO will be on shelves, accompanied by TV advertising in the fall. i think this is the second piece of information on this, so it looks like more star wars lego in 4 months. :-P i don't think the UCS AT-ST can be included in this as it is supposed to go on sale in 3 weeks!
