That's a very distinct possibility :P

It's also possible they could just be older sets but in some sort of newe "Original Trilogy" packaging like they had a couple years back...repackages of the X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Falcon, Mos Eisley set, Snowspeeder, B-wing, A-Wing etc.

Personally I think they just mean the Sailbarge & ISD; which originally had been foreseen for the second halve of 2006; they've come earlier, but perhaps the poster of this newsitem wasn't aware of this...

I'd love more sets, but I really doubt it...

well hasbro have already released details of their line that will come out in the fall (ie sept-oct) and lego always keep us guys waiting for details.

More speeder bikes? We already had a redesign of those. And I wouldn't like another Escape Pod, that was the most crappy SW set ever.

The AT-ST needs to be redone though, and I wouldn't mind for another Y-wing (which is logical seeing as it is one of the last remaining ships that hasn't had a redesign)

I know that the speeder bikes already were redesigned, but:

* it was 4 yrears ago

* it was the old colours (and since 3 colours were replaced, Bluish Grey (light and dark) and Redish Brown)

And a redesign of the escape pod would aggravate me if we only have another R2 and C3PO.

seeing as these sets are being released with the orignal trilogy then we stand a good chance of some ESB sets, as over the last few years ANH and RotJ have had loads of sets made. in total we have only had 10 minifig scale ESB sets, pretty poor seeing as this is most fans favourite film. one word "HOTH" :-P

Looking on Brickset, only counting System sets released at retail, we've had:

ANH - 7

ESB - 9

ROTJ - 17

So we're a bit overdue on ANH and ESB sets :-P

A. there have been no ROTS technic sets

B. the General Grievous Minifig sucks

C. LEGO wants more SW sets

D. General Grievous is really cool

The General Grievous Technic set idea has been brought up many times before, and I think most if not all SW LEGO fans reckons its a brilliant idea.

I reckon that if LEGO release anything Hoth related they'll chuck it all into one big set. That means we have to spend lots of money if we want a Wampa, Taun Taun, Echo Base, etc . . .

My fearless prediction (based on pure speculation):

- Almost certian that we will get a redesigned Y-Wing with Rebel control station (like the new B-wing) $35-40

- Jabba's Palace $50-60

- New AT-ST system set $15-20

- We MAY get a Tantiv IV playset similiar to the new Star Destroyer $75-100

- We will get some kind of Mindstorm NXT set to help promote the NXT system the releases June 30. This will likely be something very familiar like R2D2.

I highly doubt we will get any prequel trilogy sets because they do not tie into the LEGO Star Wars II game.

Anyway, my .02. The sets this year have been excellent so I can't wait to see what they spring on us.

* Probe Destruction: Chewie, Han + Probe Droid

* Unfreezing Luke: Luke in water tank + medical droid

* tau taun patrol: need I say more ??

* Wampa cave: cave, Luke & Wampa creature

* Defense of Echo Base: rebels, snowies, Gun Turret and tranches !!

Then we'd have to pay
