Posted June 16, 200915 yr So, I've finally decided to upload the pictures of my sausage factory, which I took in April . So, without further ado, here are the pics: See much more, including WIP pics on my flickr Also, prepare for some pictures of this along with Hinckley's buildings from Brickworld, and if you are coming, introduce yourself for a free tour!

June 16, 200915 yr This is sweet! Every layout should really have a sausage factory. I really like the details that you managed to cram into this MOC. I really hope you are bringing this one to Brickworld! -Dave ToT-LUG

June 16, 200915 yr That's amazing! All that lovely brown, so much detail, it's hard to take it all in. I love the nice garage and that little assembly line where they are making the sausage. It's actually kinda' weird but as soon as I saw this, I for some reason started singing "The Adams Family", but instead I said, "The Sausage Factory". I know, I'm crazy.

I'm glad you like the garage area, it took quite a few redesigns. Also, if you look at the WIP thread, you can see how the feedback from other members really helped in the creation of the assembly line.
June 16, 200915 yr Great factory indeed!! makes me hungry!! was that 1 or 1.5 sandcrawler used to build the factory?
June 16, 200915 yr Author Great factory indeed!! makes me hungry!!was that 1 or 1.5 sandcrawler used to build the factory? zero. I bought most of the pieces off of Bricklink. I wish I had the Sandcrawler....
June 16, 200915 yr That's an awesome factory, Ricecracker! I especially like all of the small details you added, but most of all, the huge varieties of sausages.
June 16, 200915 yr zero. I bought most of the pieces off of Bricklink. I wish I had the Sandcrawler.... wow!! that must be been some money spent on bricks! btw where do you get the sausages? didn't know LEGO had sausages. only knew of chicken drumsticks, fish, ice cream and pizza.
June 16, 200915 yr This is looking great! The angled wall breaks up the squareness of the building nicely, the smoky little industrial windows are appropriate with their minimalist decoration against the dirty great slabs of brick wall, and the garage is simple and effective - the door looks especially nice with its mix of black and trans pieces. I especially love the factory floor with all its great details. Look at those happy Lego workers, mincing up the entrails, organs, offal and assorted leftovers to make those delicious looking sausages!
June 16, 200915 yr Impressive factory The "corner" wall technique is cool and I really like all the activity in the interior and, of course, the garage
June 16, 200915 yr Author That's an awesome factory, Ricecracker!I especially like all of the small details you added, but most of all, the huge varieties of sausages. Wow there, Pi, don't want to be taken the wrong way. wow!! that must be been some money spent on bricks! btw where do you get the sausages? didn't know LEGO had sausages. only knew of chicken drumsticks, fish, ice cream and pizza. Yes, I spent almost all my Lego money for two-three months financing this. Here is the link to the sausage page on Bricklink, and here is a link to all the Lego food items. This is looking great! Thanks! The angled wall breaks up the squareness of the building nicely, the smoky little industrial windows are appropriate with their minimalist decoration against the dirty great slabs of brick wall, and the garage is simple and effective - the door looks especially nice with its mix of black and trans pieces. I felt it needed something other than square walls, so I decided to make the angled one. The windows are based off of Hinckley's design, so they fit better together. I'm glad you like the garage door, it was definitely one of the main architectural points that I wanted to include. I especially love the factory floor with all its great details. Look at those happy Lego workers, mincing up the entrails, organs, offal and assorted leftovers to make those delicious looking sausages! Yes, and sometimes it's not only animal leftovers Impressive factory The "corner" wall technique is cool and I really like all the activity in the interior and, of course, the garage Thanks, I'm really glad all the main points that I wanted to highlight are being picked up on

Man i wish i could come to Brickworld, but i will, some day..... Thanks, I was going for the industrial look, so that's perfect! I would've liked to meet you at Brickworld, but alas, I guess that can't happen.
June 16, 200915 yr I like your use of old and new brown. And the use of the occasional colored plate to break up the single colored walls. The enterior is great as well. I really dig that forklift. The white truck completes the scene. every town should have its own sausage brand. All in all very well done.
June 16, 200915 yr I really like this, it has a great factory feel to it while still looking good. Not sure i want to know what goes into sausages though.
June 16, 200915 yr Author I like it, the trucks trailer looks a little wide though? It actually fits perfectly into the garage, and the length is also perfect for carrying the pallets of sausage. I have some more pictures of it on my flickr.
June 17, 200915 yr It`s indeed very good MOC It reminds me one of my favourite MOC of all time - Hinckley`s Brewery. Very, very good work
June 18, 200915 yr that is.. GREAT! I love it , it looks very cool and industrial, the interior is awesome too ! but there is a detail that bother me, I didn't see any stairs to go where there is the man with the hat ( I think it's the boss ) , how did he get up there ? XD
