Ratshot Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 All that work and you like the war hammer the best War hammers are awesome, cause when you hit a guy in the head he explodes Quote
Ratshot Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I wish TLC would release creations like this. It would be very nice, but I am afraid they would over price them though Quote
Bartram Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Wow, what a beautiful castle MOC! I love how you have integrated in those brown "bumpy" pieces. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Pretty cool. Love the details you put into everything. The only thing I saw that I would possibly change would be the corner supports for the roof line. I would use the corner up slope brick for those. Quote
schlangus Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Awesome MOC. I never noticed how anything could attach to the underside of the arches before, like how you have 1x1 round plates. The level of detail is amazing in this MOC. I like the escaping trolls about to descend on the jester 'cause the guards are overstuffed/drunk. Great job! Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Fantastic job on this one! The attention to detail really shows in this MOC. From the landscaping to the building detail, you hit so many points in the creation of this. Looks awesome! I gotta go look at the other pics now. Quote

Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Wow. I don't know how I missed this up to now. It is awesome. It certainly lives up to the incredibly high standard we all expect from you. The overall structure and architecture is beautiful and the details are wonderful. Lots of stuff that opens up. The planted carrots is my favorite detail. fabulous with lots of building techniques that still have my scratching my head. This will be one I come back to again and again. Quote
Millacol88 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Very nice work, ISC. You managed to incorporate that curved wall technique very well, and it fits quite nicely with the rest of the MOC. I also like the house, and the corner technique you used on the lower half. Also, like the guy earlier, I did not know you could attach 1x1 circular plates to the underside of arches. Again, excellent work. Quote
pedro Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 A fantastic front piece to the Eurobricks Community Castle ISC! The styling and details are superb and there's so much to look at - from the gatehouse proper to the inn and all the goings-on with the guards and residents. I like the way you've added some really interesting shapes into the construction of your walls, it gives it a really individual look. Nice work Quote
I Scream Clone Posted July 1, 2009 Author Posted July 1, 2009 Wow, this babies got legs! Thank you all for taking the time to comment on my MOC, glad you like all the techniques used to make it unique. Cheers ISC Quote
CommanderFox Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) I love this ISC Another Great MOC! I showed my little bro, and he was so amazed!! He hopes to build like you one day! Can't wait to see more of your MOCs! CommanderFox Edited November 4, 2009 by CommanderFox Quote
Follows Closely Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I wish TLC would release creations like this. Do you have $750 to spend on a LEGO set? That is the low end of what it would have to be priced at. ... Cheers Wout, thanks for the nice words. Great Gatehouse. I am acquiring bricks now... I was going to build an entire castle, but you have convinced me to start with a Gatehouse. As a child I tried to make a gatehouse with two portcullis and huge towers. I failed every attempt. Thank's for the inspiration. Quote
