Dragonator Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I'm going to retire to my cabin for a bit to get cleaned up and check on my various belongings, and then I'll come to the dining room for a proper dinner. We haven't really eaten much this past day, and I'm famished!
Shadows Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 and then I'll come to the dining room for a proper dinner. Bring some stuff back and we'll play a game after dinner.
Svelte Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Card games, Eleanor locked up in her cabin... all it needs is Herman's tighty-whities and a 96 sided die and it'll be just like old times Meanwhile, I better get dinner on. Chicory gratin with a cheesy bechamel sauce and pralines for dessert!
Adam Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 And you know we have well-built homes nearby how, may I ask?
WesternOutlaw Posted June 24, 2009 Author Posted June 24, 2009 As the rain poors down outside, soaking the clothes of the sad townies with their noses pressed against the dining car windows, the passengers feast on Chicory gratin with cheesy bechamel sauce, and pralines for dessert. With heads down liked whipped puppy dogs, the townies slush away in the mud back toward Willoughby... An angry mayor turns back to face the Emerald lifting up his middle finger... "flipping the bird". Ba$tards!
Sandy Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 *Eleanor comes out of her cabin, wearing her dressing gown over her silky pajamas.* Oh, what a good, relaxing nap! I'll have some of that gratin, thank you very much. Are the loony townies gone? Good, now we can discuss which of them dunnit! And if you're going to play some cards, you better deal me some too. I feel lucky tonight!
Adam Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Are the loony townies gone? It would seem not, Ms. Schizophrenic.
Dragonator Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 An angry mayor turns back to face the Emerald lifting up his middle finger... "flipping the bird". Oh dear, I do hope they understand. It's not like they don't have nice warm homes nearby anyway, I mean, I really don't see why they would want to sleep on the floor of a train when they could return to their own beds for the night... Ah well, nothing I can do about it, the train company has made their decision. I brought back my cards if anyone is interested in a game. Oh, this food is delicious!

Captain Zuloo Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 You managed to survive so far, I'm sure that you would have more sturdy homes than this train.
Alice Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I'd like to eat. I'm not sure why all the townspeople are so angry. I mean there are only accomodations for the passengers on board as far as I understand so it would be uncomfortable. Max they did agree to stay in the dining car. I guess this is a little concerning as this is where the knives are held. Perhaps we could at least offer them some of Schmelt's food. They haven't eaten in a while either. We shouldn't punish the entire town just because a couple of them are bad seeds. Also, I really think I should be the one to hold on to the gun being that I am an expert on gun safety. I'm not sure that Greaseman knows anything about guns at all other than how he would look if he were playing with a toy one in a tv series.
Darth_Legois Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) I think the staff should have the gun (wait dont we have 2?) or maybe 1 staff has it and 1 passenger. Not that we dont trust you guys but ya know....just incase those townies try and illegally get on the train. Also I've had experiance with firearms before. Edited June 24, 2009 by Darth_Legois

Not that we dont trust you guys but ya know....just incase those townies try and illegally get on the train. Also I've had experiance with firearms before. I have my gun with me, and I have very little experience in using it. But I bought it with my own money and I've got a license for it, so you'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands if you want to get it. Although, you guys had no trouble getting it twice before, already... Come on, deal the cards already, Mr. Williams! I'm in it to win it!
I Scream Clone Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Top nosh Schmelt! Shame we didn't have a enough to share around with the lovely/murderous/ secretive locals. Say Austin, you up for some whiskey? Need a drink by the fireplace to rest and work through what has been happening these last few days.
WesternOutlaw Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 As the passengers and crew aboard the Emerald Express plan their next action, the townies return to Willoughby where the rain begins to subside. It's a relaxing afternoon in Willoughby... - Intermission in Progress - The Mystery will resume on July 1, 2009
