pr0visorak Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Thanks for putting up all these great instruction kimT, I never knew these instructions existed till now. Quote
KimT Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 I'll move this to the instructions Q's and A's Thanks for sharing Quote
KimT Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Moving this to the Instructions Q's and A's. I never understood how they manage to let mistakes like these slip through quality control You kinda expect when buying an expensive set that the manual is right. Nobody wants to buy a beautiful car that doesn't have an engine, do they? Quote
Walter Kovacs Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 EDIT: UCS Scale Ties by Walter Kovacs KimT I have instructions for most of my UCS scale TIE variants, in their respective folders. Here's a link to my TIE Variants: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=305481 I can easily add instructions for my MINI TIE variants, as well. I'll post in this topic again when I get them uploaded. Quote
KimT Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Great. I'll add your link to the first post Quote

Skipper 24 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) EDIT: UCS AT-AT InstructionsHey Kim, If you want to add them, I did some for an UCS AT-AT a few months back. I still haven't had the time or money to build it, but, plan to some day!! LINK Jamie When I click the link I seem to be getting a server error. The web address of it doesn't seem to link to your gallery though? It says "http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=310047&n=47" I thought there is usually the name of the gallery's owner somewhere in that. EDIT: it probably works but I just found our Brickshelf isn't working right now for me. Edited September 20, 2008 by Skipper 24 Quote
Skipper 24 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 It works fine now. Maybe when I went on they were doing some maintenance or something. That's a pretty sweet AT-AT by the way. Quote
jamie75 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Thanks KimT, If you get it built before me. LMK, I would like to see it built in real bricks!! I plan on starting it a couple months after I get my new house done. Kids, wife, 2 houses. No time or money for Lego!! Jamie Quote
snake1992 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 EDIT: Death Star Instructions The Death Star instructions have finally hit lego.com and heres the link: http://us.service.lego.com/en-GB/BuildingI...ns/default.aspx Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 1. I'm afraid you're too late. This was already posted in the 2008-2009 sets topic(or was it the Death Star topic?). 2. Don't post new threads for new news you think is new news. Quote
Shadows Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 1. I'm afraid you're too late. This was already posted in the 2008-2009 sets topic(or was it the Death Star topic?). A lot gets lost in the mega-threads. I actually thought this seemed familiar, but a normal search didn't turn it up, though I am sure it exists. It won't hurt to have it here, for now, then it could be merged if we really want to. 2. Don't post new threads for new news you think is new news. Post old threads for new news? Er... new threads for old news? How about ... 3. Don't play moderator unless you have the badge. Thanks! Quote
snake1992 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Sorry if this is old news guys I apolagise. I tried a search but I couldn't find anything concrete so I thought I'd go ahead and post it for anyone that may have missed out. Quote
meschepers Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 It's really not a big deal. I have had this happen myself. I found something that I hadn't seen on here before so I did a search of the site and found nothing. After I made my post I got several comments about how it had already been posted. I just don't get why members feel they need to be so rude about things, especially when they are not mods. Quote

It's no problem. It's good that you posted this. I'll just move it to the Instructions Q's & A's topic - so that we have instruction topics gathered in one space. Thanks for sharing your find with us (Who's playing moderator in my forum? ) Quote
Medievalego Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Hi guys, I bought this used sans instructions ... I only need to figure out the center construction ... have the wings completed ... if anyone could message me, that'd be great. I know the peeron policy and all, but I did buy it, just in a lot and minus instructions. Thanks!!! ~ Medievalego ~ Quote

KimT Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 I've just added this: "Advanced Building Techniques Manual click >here< " to the 1st post. Take a look people, it holds a great deal of cool techniques usable when building. It was mentioned in another topic somewhere on EB and I thought it might be useful for us Star Wars fans Quote
Skipper 24 Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 That's pretty neat Kim T are there any more section to it? Quote
KimT Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 That's pretty neat Kim T are there any more section to it? Dunno. Hopefully someone will come along and read this, followed by a posting of more unofficial manuals for us Quote
KimT Posted October 5, 2008 Author Posted October 5, 2008 Or you could have looked in the topic on Instructions. I'll merge this into the proper topic. Quote
