Posted June 22, 200915 yr I bring you guys the East Brickian Trading Company, a brand new LEGO theme! The Backstory: It is the year 1712, and Edward heard stories of men going to the far east and become rich. Edward decided to buy himself a ship and he sets sail. After a long voyage he reaches East Brickia, a large group of undiscovered islands. After exploring some islands he came to the conclusion there were a lot of resources to start a small village. With the men from the ship they started building a small trading post, they harvested exotic products from the jungles like spices, sugar and cotton. Later on they even started a plantation to grow specific products. Meanwhile there was a threat from pirates and enemy nations so they decided to protect their colony by building a fortress on the shore. But after that another problem occured, the island's jungle was crowded with islanders who didn't like foreign people on their land. But the islanders are no match for the modern Soldiers with cannons and muskets. Now the islanders sabotage buildings, kidnap colonists and plunder warehouses. The colony of Captain Edward grows into a small town, how does the story continue? That's up to you. The main character: The main character in this new line of products is Captain Edward. June 23, 200915 yr Author How about a theme "the guys in the barrels". I'm glad you like my idea, I've made the pictures! The lightning isn't perfect but I will improve the pics later on. I hope you like Captain Edward!
June 23, 200915 yr How about a theme "the guys in the barrels". Sounds good A magnificent job on the decal, but I suggest giving sir Edward red or gold empulettes, or whatever there called Anyways hes looking good!
June 24, 200915 yr Nice job so far Is this one of the programmed sets or just an exposition shot? I think it works well both ways LuxorV
June 24, 200915 yr Author Sounds good A magnificent job on the decal, but I suggest giving sir Edward red or gold empulettes, or whatever there called Anyways hes looking good! I have tried with red, but that is just not good. So far I have no gold epaulettes I still think white is the best choice, however gold might look good as well. Nice job so far Is this one of the programmed sets or just an exposition shot? I think it works well both ways LuxorV It's an exposition shot. I agree this could be a set. Currently I am working on the impulse sets I've mentioned. The larger sets are a bit too much work, I'm not going to build a fortress or a village. Great ideas to build in the future by the way! I'm glad you like it LuxorV!
June 26, 200915 yr I would certainly buy this theme were it to come out. 2 thumbs up , and 5 stars! Excelent work
July 13, 200915 yr Please remember the 3 shots (front, side and back) of the MF on a blank background, Cap'n Blackmoor. We don't want this neat entry to be disqualified, right? LuxorV
