DarthSion Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 I loved that part. When I get a car, I'm going to try that in a big parking lot when no one is there. Yeah hell of a noise isnt it. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Its like she said "you've given me kids now get in the back." Funniest line ever, May has a way with saying something that seems unfunny then ends up being hilarious. A good episode, better than the last couple, minga central again, pretty solid all round except the twig, G.I Joe movie?. Quote
-JD- Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 TG = One of the best programmes on TV ever, PERIOD! I made a few MOCs based on stuff that happens. Michael Macintyre made JC cry! That is the first time I have seen him cry with laughter. Can't blame him, that was hilarious! The new Lambo is beautiful! Quote
DarthSion Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 When was that?, this weeks Celeb was that twig chick, and the rear wheel drive challenge. Speaking of which, that French guy really didn't like the Moris. Quote
prateek Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 (edited) I can't find Season 13 Episode 5 anywhere on the internet! Help? Edited July 21, 2009 by prateek Quote

You don't know Sienna Miller? She has been in a lot of popular films... Am currently watching on iPlayer as I missed it on Sunday. Quote
prateek Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 I finally watched it (S13E5) today and it was pretty good. I laughed so hard when Jeremy said "juicy tomatoes" in the Range Rover. Quote

I have no idea, the female who is clearly anorexic, and said the "tits up, tits down" thing to Clarkson, when he played the G.I Joe clip. I must be a good boy and not comment on movie. I haven't seen her before, I'm Australian, unless its a rather big UK movie i don't see it. I wish they would get someone from Red Dwarf on it. Quote
simonjedi Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I agree, Robert and Chris are both petrol heads. I've been disappointed with this series, there hasn't been any hilarious moments like the previous series Quote

I haven't seen her before, I'm Australian, unless its a rather big UK movie i don't see it. I wish they would get someone from Red Dwarf on it. I think they have had the Red Dwarf guys on before. Stardust was the last film she was in, plus I think that is her natural shape (*hate*) my friend is very similar (girl could eat chocolate like it was the day before a nation wide ban...) anywhom: I suppose Top Gear is just exported, not really made for a global audience, so the stars are well known to the british. Quote
prateek Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Well, in North America Sienna Miller is somewhat famous, so she, Usain Bolt and Simon Cowell are the only people I know in the Star in Car segment. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 24, 2009 Author Posted July 24, 2009 Dwarfers haven't been on top gear, and yes it is made for the UK and exported, sadly. Natural size, well she is a model, still looks like if you farted to close to her you would break a bone or two. Well i wouldn't want to eat too much chocolate, its a laxative. I'm assuming that's off the top of your head, surely you know more of the Celebs: Ewan McGregor, Jodie Kidd, Jay Kay, Patrick Stewart, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Lionel Richie, Omid Djalili, Jordan, Vinnie Jones, Rich Hall, Geri Halliwell, Jennifer Saunders, Hugh Grant, Simon Pegg, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Jones to name a few. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_Test...na_leader_board Quote
Peppermint_M Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Thats odd, the Dwarf fans in my office talk fondly of the actors being on Top Gear. And yes I know most of the featured stars, Patrick Stewart should be well known at least (Proffesor Xaivier in X-men? Captain Jean Luc Picard?). I thought only soap actors and musical artists with only a UK following would be the unknowns globaly. A lot of them have had internationaly recognised roles in films, TV and many other things. Isn't there some form of Australian Top Gear? Quote
DarthSion Posted July 25, 2009 Author Posted July 25, 2009 (edited) Well if any of the cast were in top gear they aren't listed in the leader board. Sorry i meant that list for prateek. Yeah there is an Aussie top gear, its rubbish, there is also a German version with Sabine who was in the "allies vs nazi" race thingy, there is also a Russian version, there is going to be a Korean version, and an American. Ironically the USA which i would probably know most of the celebs, i dont see doing very well either, none of the spin off have. Edited July 25, 2009 by DarthSion Quote
-JD- Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 (edited) I made a Top Gear brickfilm a few days back. Edited July 25, 2009 by Jammiedodger714 Quote
DarthSion Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 Appalling, i hope some more female members join this thread, the TPUK thread on the local pc site i visit is embarrassing, all going gagah over that, i don't know I'm speechless for a put down, chick with May. Worst episode ever, although i did for once like the Celeb in a reasonably priced car. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Mah, it was an ok episode. I liked the old cars. The purple one at the auction was a personal want. I'd say all sorts of about the glamour model, but I have been friends with such girls and it isn't entirely their fault. She more than likely knew what she was signing up for and it was entertaining. She seemed nice enough. Dinosaurs FTW. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 She bored me to tears, stubby short of a six pack as we say. Quote
prateek Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 BBC always takes off the Top Gear videos off youtube after episode 5 of each season. Even in season 12 I could only find up to episode 4 Quote
DarthSion Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 Then maybe its time to get it by other means. Quote
Matn Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) I just watched the episode of this week, it was again very good. I've always liked Top Gear, although I don't know that much about cars. I always watch it together with my father, on Canvas (Belgium channel) they are showing the episodes of a year ago with subtitles, but we've seen them already. That doesn't stop us from watching. And of course, we watch the now ones on BBC. James May is really great. I just like him, I guess. The old cars were really nice, I like those. I found it pretty funny with that glamour girl, okay, there was probably some acting involved, but I found it good. May's reactions were funny. Last week was also good, has anyone noticed at the point were they showed each others' cars, when James May slams the door of (I think;) Jeremy's car, he hits Jeremy in the nuts?! It looked so funny, May looks behind him and he puts his arm with a big swing next to his body, but Jeremy didn't stand behind him, he stood next to him. I hope somebody saw that! It's all done very well, Top Gear, but the last few episodes the music attracts my attention. They have used The Killers for three episodes in a row, and in the episode of this week I have heard (in this order): Jimi Hendrix, Joy Division, again Hendrix and then the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Ha, the people that choose the music have the same music taste as mine. Edited July 27, 2009 by Matn Quote

The Rancor Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 How? I tried zshare but it does't work on my computer and all the other sites say to install Zango or do a survey with personal info. Go to www.bbc.co.uk and use a link or search for bbc iplayer on the site. Using this feature you can watch back programmes on bbc (such as Top Gear) which you have missed. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 It says under his name, Toronto, i thought iplayer was only for the UK. Personally i pay the money for a rapidshare account, fast, safe, and reliable. Quote
prateek Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Its ok now, I found it on Youtube, but it'll probably be gone soon Quote
