I didn't want to take a thread off topic, so thought id start one, i get it of the mods close it, thought i would put it in this section for all themes.

I only collect Star Wars, so the obvious one, i hate stickers.

I hate knowing that if i buy the Death Star all 3800 odd pieces are all over the place, i don't get it, why put a couple of the sets in numbered bags, but not all?.

So come on, surely something about Lego drives you nuts.

Sometimes, in LEGO forums, people are too damn lazy to punctuate. DRIVES ME CRAZY!

I think people like that should be banned.

Don't you

(see how that works?)

I  stickers, but what I do hate is bent instructions and sticker sheets inside boxes. (my precious stickers!)

I also don't like the fact that some pieces are 'reserved' for Star Wars only - they should be for any set.

P.S.: I'm not dyslexic, but why does the word have to be so difficult to spell?

Excessive negativity about something that brings so much joy, ie Lego.

Ironic giving you were being so negative about the lack of Endor sets available just a few hours ago.

I don't hate any piece or anything that comes in a LEGO set. Every piece has its own uses, just as stickers or <insert that tiresome argument> parts. What's not to like about LEGO? Sure, there are a few pieces that look weird and unusable, but sometimes you have to think outside the box to make use of some good pieces. And I like it very much when the building bags aren't numbered, man I would love to build that big Death Star. It gives me a great feeling to put my hands in thousands of pieces to find the right one. Sure, it's easier when it's numbered, but be honest, it takes away a bit of the fun.

Excessive relates to the proportion of negative posts and also the tone and phrasing of the post(s). Of course people should be able to voice complaints or annoyances here, again it is excessive use of negative posting that I would find annoying if it occurred. I think 99% of people reading my post relating to the Endor set would understand that the lack of availability of the Endor set was disappointment, also it was an informative post listing availability of the set in Australia, so anyone local to me would be saved effort in searching for a set not available here.

My apologies for this being off-topic but I feel the need to answer such a comment.

I'm not sure what this thread is accomplishing, the title is provocative and overly general to be particularly useful. At best it will result in the regular answers of stickers, galidor, juniorisation, then some bionicle bashing until it degenerates further. With so much to celebrate and enjoy about Lego I'm really not sure what it accomplishes. What about a "what would you like to improve about Lego"? It's much less antagonistic.

I hate themes like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Racers, Galidor, Fabuland ( ), 4 Juniors, Technic, ect,.

I also hate thick baseplates, and and unusable Technic peices to system stuff.

I hate it when depressing people like you make dumb threads like this about depressing things! So I really hate this thread!

Please avoid personal attacks, ok?

If this thread has to be, then just say what you hate/don't like in the LEGO world (btw, I updated the title in this sense).

Thanks

1. I'm dyslexic.

Dyslexia now causes a lack of punctuation?

Excessive negativity about something that brings so much joy, ie Lego.

Agreed.

Fine then close it.

I think that's an excellent idea, thanks for suggesting it.

There are a dozen seperate gripe threads about every issue under the sun on a site where we're supposed to love the brick, not tear it down. It's one thing to suggest that something is a problem, it's another to just bitch bitch bitch, and frankly, we've got enough places you can do that without one more pointless thread rehashing the same old crap.

CLOSED.

Ahhh this takes me back. I recall a topic just like this from a while back. It ended up being closed.

Some traditions are worth keeping.

I love tradition.

I knew I should have refreshed before coming back to reply in this tab.
