Dragon King Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Wow. :oo Lego just keeps outdoing itself. Quote
captaintau Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Its 2 in the morning and I just finished building my B-Wing. I also had the V-Wing and TIE Interceptor arrive today. I was think about building Slave I too, but I made a few mistakes toward the end of the B-Wing just basically down to tiredness and I don't think I could cope with Slave I. Something to look forwrd to tomorrow. Generally - WOW. Impressive. Fun build, too. My only one single small criticism (unless I'm being dumb, which is quite possible) is the missile firing mechanism - I don't get it. Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 I am now going to leave and buy one, bye! ;) Quote

You put the two "missiles" in the holes in the front, and pull back on the engine block, and let go. It should slam into the missiles and fire them...about a foot >_> It really works poorly Quote
captaintau Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 I do get it then, its just rubbish Quote

Sarg_Kulo Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Sorry, I'll go back and edit *voldemort* Not that it's a big deal he's dead, I mean we have Qui Gon, Darth Maul, Obi Wan, Count Dooku, Anakin, heck most of the minifigs die so it doesn't matter at all really *voldemort* Quote

Dark1 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 has anyone said that the guy in white's head could go for a nice custom Plo Koon? Quote

Anyways, im gonna aim for this set rather soon...in a week an a half, my perfect report card (as always) will be home. Time to pay the check... *thrusts feather pen into some fat guy's neck* THA PEN IS TRULY MIGHTIER THAN THA SWORD! Quote
KimT Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I just got mine and I must say that I am impressed. I like the ship - it's awesome... If one leaves out the crappy missile launcher - but they're all crappy [never met a set in which such things worked - just think of the horrendous cannon thingy in the Tie Bomber *sick* ]. I really like the docking bay - except for the flaw mentioned in the initial review of this thread. This is a must have - but aren't all SW sets? :oD I think the B-Wing has that sturdy design and definately a swoosh effect *wub* KimT Quote
Axle Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 ;-) I'm gonna bribe my dad today to get me one when we're in town on friday. Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 LOL, this is a revival. :-P Nice though. I really want one. Those guns are impressive. -ZotS Quote
captaintau Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 IIRC correctly, on the B-Wing, weapons are meant to be modular. It woudl have been really good if alternative weapons could have come with the LEGO B-Wing, given that they are modular anyway. Quote
