Luke McAwesome Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Billy Mays has died. Not sure how, but his wife claims that she found him dead. Rest in peace, spirit of Mighty Putty. -Striker EDIT: Just realized this belongs in Culture and Multimedia! Edited June 29, 2009 by Striker™ Quote

SWMAN Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 This is truly a sad day. I guess he won't be selling me Oxyclean anymore. Quote
Spyder Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Good bye Billy. R.I.P. You were really enthusiastic with the products you endorsed. Great job, and I'm sure most everyone will remember you. Quote
VBBN Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Sad thing is, ias his fault. His death was caused by a rough plane landing, and he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. His wide is requesting privacy, but that is the true story. Quote

Adam Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 He will be missed. Why are all the famous people dying?! They say Hollywood deaths come in threes... But with Farah Fawcett making the third, I guess Billy isn't really a Hollywood figure. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted June 28, 2009 Author Posted June 28, 2009 Started by the Communist Party of Greenland More like the Communist Association of Tyrants. CAT! Haha, I made a funny. Bye bye, Billy. Quote

JCC1004 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I enjoy watching YT remixes of his commercials. What is real wierd is about 5 months ago i saw a YT video saying Billy Mays dead at 50. I'll try to find it. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted June 29, 2009 Author Posted June 29, 2009 Just because Billy Mays is dead does not mean his products will stop being made. After all, the only thing showing him on Mighty Putty and such is just a picture of him holding it showing the words: As seen on TV! But Billy Mays will be dearly missed. Quote
Cyclone Titan Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Wow! This is all too sudden. Farrah, Michael, and now Billy. I feel sorry for him and his family, and he will be missed. God. This June is a celebrity nightmare. CT Quote
Millacol88 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 What is it with everyone dying? RIP Billy Mays. Quote
Adam Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Just because Billy Mays is dead does not mean his products will stop being made. After all, the only thing showing him on Mighty Putty and such is just a picture of him holding it showing the words: Billy didn't make or produce the products, he was just commissioned to advertise them. So as long as they still run the commercial and make money, the products will continue to be made. Quote
