After looking at Admiral M's LDD ship evolution I decided to make my own. My first ship was built a year ago to this month. I am curious to see everyone's skill progression so I ask anyone who wants to share their ship evolutions to post them here.

1 The Black and Red Pearl (you can tell this is my first ship just by the name)

4 The Acadia

5 The Empress (in my opinion my best ship)

Now let's see yours.

I can clearly see the positive evolution, keep it up and you will become a Master ship builder like Captain Green Hair.

Very nice series of ships. Your building style is great...It combines the classic lego feel with a much more sophisticated design. Look forward to more. The Avenger is great too. I don't think I had seen that one before.

Quite nice! Your skills have improved astronomically! Great ships, through and through. My favorite is the Yellow Jacket. do you plan on building a large ship with 2 or more decks?

Thanks. Yes I am currently building a large pirate ship. I am not sure if i will post a WIP of it. I have a bunch of great ideas for it but I don't know where to start.

Your skills are growing by the week Paul, keep it up!

Now let's see yours.

Are you sure? Ok :pir-grin:

It all started with the Denise, coming out of my ''dark age'' now 6 years ago:

Though not very piratical, the next sailing ship i have build about 6 months after was the El Sueno:

After a few projects my next ship was Le Requin:

Then the Yellow thief (which is still together):

After that i have build ''the Telesell'' which is also still together:

Next up was ''la Mort Royal'':

After that one ''the Seagull'':

Then i have build the Dutch yacht:

And i ofcourse still am working on my ''Prins Willim''

So that's the evolution of my building, i'd love to see some more stories.

Great topic this one!

Wow... the Denise is better than anything I'll make in the next 5 years!

It would be interesting to see one of your ships from before your "dark age", CGH. Interesting ship name, "the Tired" :pir-hmpf_bad:, but it looks good! Have you disassembled La Mort Royal?

All look quite spectacular, and the Prins William :pir-wub:

Here are mine, as Paul refered to:

My Evolution

For such great builders as yourselves, who knows what the future may hold!

Woah! Captain Green Hair those are some spectacular ships. Your first ship after 6 years looks like that! :pir-wub: I definately like your large ships much more than your small ships. I can't wait for The Prince Willim.

Nice ships :pir-classic: I love the yellow hornet

@CGH, Your Ship building techniques are amazing! :pir-blush:

Thanks guys!

Have you disassembled La Mort Royal?

No i haven't, but i do plan on giving her an overhaul before the end of the year.

All the ships on prefab hulls are still together, except for Le Requin.

The Seagull has been sold to Matija, and he has promised not to break it up.

nice to see how people's building evolves over time. some very nice ships you have there, and captain greenhair, u deffinitly are the master ship builder :pir-classic:
