Fallenangel Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) Thanks, Clone O' Patra. I've just set up a brickshelf account today. Thanks for telling me. I will try to sort out the blurryness next time. Come on legojazzbricks, you can do it! And your comic was good too! Edited April 3, 2011 by fallenangel309 Quote
Artanis I Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Some good ones over the weekend, quite a few made me laugh. Best one was Oky's GrievousArts. Quote

Mr Man Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Right here we go. Why do Lego use proper eyes on the game cw characters but not on actual Lego ones? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4963328 its not just flick fire missiles now its flick ejector seats too. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4963320 Erm legojazzbricks you have to click on the double click on you image, and then copy the hyperlink, because until the folder is moderated no one else can view it. PS I think the cleaver bolding was fallenangel309's idea. Quote
def Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 It has to do with that he's based on the Japanese. He's even supposed to look like a character from the movie "Seven Samurai". Japanese pronounce the R differently, kind of sounding like an "L", or that's what people say. Not to rain on your parade, but that's somewhat of a dated racist joke; as Krusty the Klown says, 'Me so solly' I don't know if that joke is as frowned on outside of N. America as it is inside. Anyway, I enjoyed surfing through the last few pages of this thread, I'll have to see if I can add a second or third to my lone submission here. Quote
Mr Man Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Now I can see them legojazzbricks I love the second one. There is so much material for these features on sets, like Oky Wan Kenobi's Clone gunner. Quote

Brick_Pig Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Praiter, I must also say that your latest are great!! But how did you make the light of the saber? Was it photoshopped or just the sun when you took the photo? I also took some new photos today, here's my first one: Quote

Mr Man Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 just one from me today Why did lego bother to make a detachable engine anyway? I still have plenty more to come so see you soon legojazzbricks Its good legojazzbricks, however if you press enter after 'anyway?' the image will be on a new line and looks easier to read. . I really like the Gold heads joke Brick_Pig, I wonder why Lego changed the C3PO fig 4 times (5 if you include the chrome). Quote
legojazzbricks Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 glad you like it mr man will do next time. legojazzbricks Quote
Clone OPatra Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 glad you like it mr man will do next time. Why next time? It will take about three seconds to edit your post and press enter so that it will look better for those members with big screens. There's no reason to remember that for 'next time.' Also, what are you doing to your pictures to make them so grainy? It doesn't look like something that would happen in-camera. Quote
legojazzbricks Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) Im not sure why they are so grainy i will check my camera is ok hopefully i will have it sorted for my next ones. legojazzbricks Edited April 5, 2011 by legojazzbricks Quote

Brick_Pig Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) I really like the Gold heads joke Brick_Pig, I wonder why Lego changed the C3PO fig 4 times (5 if you include the chrome). They changed it 4 times?! I didn't know that. I just have the one out of the 4504 Millenium Falcon from 2004 and the second, 'more golden' one out of the Luke's Landspeeder set from last year. I think that's enough... Thanks Brick_Pig and it's Photoshopped. Looks like a chrome gold 3PO head would have come in useful there . Yes! That's what I thought when I had taken the photo. I had to do many shots until I found the one where it really looked golden. Although ironically the one he used for 'Chinese Remake' is the original C-3P0 head. That was also a problem when I wrote the punchline. The joke can be misunderstood because of the discussion about TLG's Chinese plastic. But I couldn't find another country which is as famous for its remakes... Please read yellow text out-loud in the style of Sir Alec Guinness...*SNIP* Could someone explain how to make many different quotes in one post...? Edited April 5, 2011 by Brick_Pig Quote

It's nonsense to seat a minifigure in it...!? My new one is about the end-scene of Episode VI. I think everybody knows the 'correction' they made for the DVD... now the same for Clone Wars: Quote
