Mr Man Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 No, it was meant to be that Luke's bad Spidey sense failed to warn him about the danger of Palpatine's high voltage fingers. There is a genuine 'Danger High Voltage' warning symbol, presumably that's where the idea for the song came from. *Snip* Ah oops I thought it was a double joke. Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Only a select few can, including Iroh, Zuko, Azula, and Aang. And no, it's not called lightning bending, it's just a different form of firebending. Well according to Iroh he developed the technique from studying water benders. I had no idea that Hamill was Ozai. Crazy!! Great picture with Zuko and Luke. Quote
Big Brick Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Didn't know where to add these two... So I chose this place. :) Enjoy! flickr: Darth Santa-Claus Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Hehe, very nice ones, Oky and Big Brick! Quote
MyHobby Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Seems like my kinda topic. The first one may take some thinking about but... Quote
Stardusty Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Of course, how could I forget! Nice one. You have inspired me to make my own Avatar cross-over with my brand new Zuko fig! Only fans will get this one: snip Good one! I wish there's more Avatar themed MOCs and Funnies (and LEGO sets, too). Second one is also good. @Big Brick: Second one is hilarious! Quote
Oky Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Good ones, Big Brick! Seems like my kinda topic. The first one may take some thinking about but... Sorry, but I don't think those were all that funny. The first one is kind of a groaner (Zombie Gunner = Clone Gunner), the second one is an old joke, and the third one isn't funny, it's just a fact - The old Clone Wars cartoon rocks! Nice try though. Good one! I wish there's more Avatar themed MOCs and Funnies (and LEGO sets, too). Second one is also good. Thanks. I'll try to come up with some more. By the way, your last one was pretty good. It's more of a MOC than a funny though, so I think it deserves its own thread. Quote
MyHobby Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Sorry, but I don't think those were all that funny. Philistine. The first one is kind of a groaner (Zombie Gunner = Clone Gunner), What's wrong with that? Aside from the obvious, that is. the second one is an old joke, I was hoping for "classic," but you're probably right. and the third one isn't funny, it's just a fact - The old Clone Wars cartoon rocks! Nice try though. Perhaps I need to try again... I appreciate the critique! Quote
Mr Man Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Seems like my kinda topic. Bombad is a whole word . Nar the 2003 series was nowhere near as good, but that's a comment for another topic . Your second one MyHobby is really good , but I still don't get the first . Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 *snip* Your second one MyHobby is really good , but I still don't get the first . You recognised the 'clone' in the background?! Quote
Mr Man Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 You recognised the 'clone' in the background?! No. Is it some sort of zombie? If so I still don't get it Zombie Clones? Quote
Peanuts Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Didn't know where to add these two... So I chose this place. :) Enjoy! snip flickr: Darth Santa-Claus I'm afraid, I don't get the second one. Seems like my kinda topic. The first one may take some thinking about but... snip I think, Oky's right. Those aren't really funny. Well, I haven't posted one for long and I don't have any further ideas, but I just recently did another one: When Palpatine launched his new restaurant "The Empire", there was a small misunderstanding: Quote
Still Raindrop Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Peanuts, I don't think your is very funny right now. However, that could all be fixed with the wording. Making it simpler would be ideal; perhaps have him doing something at Leia's table to a response of "Darth Waiter. Only you could be so bold." Quote
The Legonater Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Peanuts, I don't think your is very funny right now. However, that could all be fixed with the wording. Making it simpler would be ideal; perhaps have him doing something at Leia's table to a response of "Darth Waiter. Only you could be so bold." I was thinking with some slight changes to the picture, it could be 'Darth Waiter, only your sause could be so bold.' Quote
Still Raindrop Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I was thinking with some slight changes to the picture, it could be 'Darth Waiter, only your sause could be so bold.' Even better! Quote

Praiter Yed Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I had this idea a long time ago and meant to shoot it in time for the Royal Wedding, but I ended up working that day ... Clone O'Patra kind of beat me to this joke but due to some bizarre role reversal his was dirty . Quote
Stardusty Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Good one! I still laugh when I watch scene from ESB where Leia kisses Luke. Quote
legojazzbricks Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Nice one this thread will live after all. thanks legojazzbricks Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Great work bringing new life to this thread with a great funny, Praiter Yed! Quote
Peanuts Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I was thinking with some slight changes to the picture, it could be 'Darth Waiter, only your sause could be so bold.' Your captation is ways better, I got to agree. Pretty good one, Yed. Quote
KotZ Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I'm glad I inspired someone! (Oky) Great one, Praiter! I think it may have been better if Luke and Leia were holding hands though. I remember a news story from a few years ago where these twins were about to be married but found out they were separated at birth... I think we're all glad Lucas didn't have that in the canon. Quote
