In that case, a mountainside that they roll down or something.

Wouldn't it be a better introduction into the new universe if a refugee saved them though? Like he saw the hole open up, and was going to escape, but saw the group and saved them instead?

With what, a giant trampoline? :P I don't know how a vehicle could save all of them, and even if it was big enough the landing would be pretty dang hard.

If they caught them mid fall it would soften the landing a lot. A flying vehicle wouldn't be unheard of. Maybe it was a couple even. Immediately introduce the refugee heroes.

However, a flying vehicle would make it so they could potentially fly up, blast the ceiling, and escape. Plus the fact that they've probably built it out of junk, and so it's not the largest or strongest thing in the world. Plus, there are a lot more entering characters than refugees.

Also, a bit too similar to the Rahaga saving the Hordika in 2005.

I think the fact they are made of junk would make it impossible to blast through. And having the vehicles basically trashed by this act would only be more heroic. But I'd forgotten about the Rahaga. So maybe not. A conveniently placed hill or mountain side just sounds so boring. Maybe they fall into like vines / trees that had grown inside. That would be cool too.

I would think being junkpunk would make it more brittle than a manufactured vehicle.

And it doesn't have to be "conveniently placed"; It could be a massive mountain that encompasses most of the cavern or something.

That would be... pretty sweet actually. A large mountain inside the GS. What would it be composed of? Compacted sand after over 100,000 years of sand falling in?

And dead bodies and machines and such. :D

What's this talk about a flying machine being able to blast a hole through the dome ceiling and escape?

Many things can fly, but can't make enough force to ram itself through metal, rock, sand and whatever else might make up the dome roof and ground above.

Even if the flying vehicle could make enough force, the impact on the ceiling would cause the unfinished and unstable dome to lose the strength that it has, causing it to collaspe in on itself, sending tonnes of rubble to most likely destroy the flying vehicle and cause the mass murder of all the other refugees and inhabitants of the dome.

Hardly a good plan for even the most desperate refugees of the GS. :sadnew:

Maybe the sink hole opens up, causing a Karda Nui-like waterfall of sand and Glatorian, which begins to pour into the dome, and also triggers the semi-working force-fields of the dome by damage to the dome roof. This force field prevents anymore sand from falling in, leaving no sink hole up above, and a refugee in a big glider type vehicle (steampunk BTW) catches the falling Glatorian on the vehicle's wings. The impact of the Glatorian and the sand on the vehicle causes the vehicle to crash land, although nobody (important) dies from the fall. Because the force-fields are imperfect unfinished prototypes of Karda Nui like fields, they are unstable, and gradually start increasing in size, destroying things near the decreasing perimeter of the dome via energy bolts. The Glatorian have to escape the dome, and could be split up in the process.

Nah, I think they shouldn't meet the refugees until a bit later on.

I thought the vote was that the Glatorian and agori get separated by being snatched away by the creatures? And I agree with Bfahome- the refugees should be later. The beginning should just be a big surprise, a sudden loss of members, and total shock leaving the remaining protagonists confused and without much bearing.

Like the force-fields being generated. Also would prevent escape pretty effectively. Like the refugee thing too. Maybe the refugee dies in the crash? That way the protagonists would still be pretty much on their own when the enemy strikes and captures the Agori / Glatorian.

Nah, I think they shouldn't meet the refugees until a bit later on.

But it would also be a good idea to show that there are beings in there as soon as would be effective. And as I said earlier, if the refugee who saves them dies, it wouldn't be a very big deal anyway.

Some get captured. And that would happen after they'd already landed probably.

I was thinking that they could fall in, think that it's uninhabited, split up to find a way out, someone gets captured, the others go after them but are stopped by the refugees, and they're filled in on what's going on.

I Have an idea, why not make just a 1 Good guy against all bad guys?

You know, Ferast against everything that wants to kill him and eat him over all the G.S.P body underground, and Cyber-punk beings should be titans >:I.

i Did the first sketches of Cyber-punks, i will Upload them later

The team gets separated, so one lost Glatorian could have a side-story like that. Maybe he walks into a dome filled with evil hungry creatures, and tries to escape?

Ahem. 1 down, 1 to go. :]

Light up LED chest.

Custom head and chest piece. No Paint this time around, next one will though.

I felt Nkama Metru's head flipped like this looked like rain(the dots), so I modded it a little and gave it to him.

His temporary name right now is Tarkol, but you guys give him a better name and a story. :]

Hay.

I've got this Scorponok MOC that I think might work as one of the capture-the-people creatures. If so, it'd have a spear shooter on its tail (like my flying thingy) and it'd be able to shoot chains from its claws.

The history behind it would be that it used to be a Zesk but it fell in, was caught, got enslaved, and over time had "improvements" added to its body.

I believe the currently we haven't decided this. We only have said that some get captured, and they wouldn't be doing much wandering.

Why light up chest? Lifelights are a Matoran thing, Agori don't have them.

I saw this and it looks like it would be fantastic for this. :D

I know, but it's a neat possibility. If it were some kind of nightmare dome, he could only be gone for an hour, but it seem like weeks to him. It could be a side-story comic, that if Antrozesk wants to illustrate and write for fun, there's space in the story for it.

That actually wouldn't require the team being separated all that much. And I definitely like it.

Perhaps the captured ones could be forced to fight in twisted Glatorian matches by their captors? Maybe a couple could be used in experiments, explaining their changed appearances. Gelu is transformed and becomes evil?

Having trouble finding out all the storyline ideas that have been made up so far, guys... It's gonna take a while to sieve through 22 pages of ideas and decided stuff.

And I can't do much participation until I do...

But all I do know is that 2010 needs purple because it is far too absent...

I heard LEGO is not gonna do/bother with purple anymore after some set designers made a PINK prototype... If there was a car analogy for what their brains did there, it would probably be that they fitted their analogy-brain-cars with nitrous retard.

They're not doing purple because there was a problem with getting the purple colour consistent between batches, and they didn't use purple enough anyway to make it worth the research costs to fix the purple colour.

BIONICLE hasn't used purple much anyway, because it's hard to match to an element, and it's not the most popular colour for the target audience. The prototype pink helmet was just for fun, but it's appearance did proof that they shouldn't do a purple/pink set anyway.

About the catching up problem, could Vertea update the first post, with the currently decided storyline? In a meantime GRUMBLECAKES, you should read the 2010 vote topic, because it's much more organised and it has a lot of decisions that we've made so far.

@ Ecto - I'm not really a fan of making characters twisted and evil through torture/transformation, but I like the idea of twisted Glatorian matches. There could be some seriously unfair matches with 1 Glatorian vs. 3 vehicles, or where a captive Agori/Glatorian has to test a prototype vehicle.

Oh, he's not evil because he transformed, perhaps he figures if you can't beat 'em, join 'em and he volunteers as an experimental specimen?
