SlyOwl Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Thanks for the review But it doesn't come in any packaging, apart from the cardboard tag? That's cheap, especially for a chromie... Keychain removal here also - basically bend off the chain links, and pull the pin out the top of the head. They glue the hips though I've gotten LEGO keychains in the past, and if you actually use them on your keys, it ends up looking like a horror show, My father has a LEGO soccer keychain, and it's facial features are all worn off, the legs are missing and it generally looks like it's been run over by a semi-truck. I know, I used to use Majisto as a keyring - he broke both his hips and his hands, and his beard got ripped up and dyed pink, as a result of an accident with a red pen... Quote
Tom Bricks Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I'm going to remove mine from the key chain. All of my old chrome parts actually look fine except the swords. Quote

Shakar Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the review But it doesn't come in any packaging, apart from the cardboard tag? That's cheap, especially for a chromie... Yeah, I was very surprised when I received my box. I thought "Wow, a chrome minifig and no packaging? At all? Now that's cheap..." I was rather disappointed. It looks really cool, it's such a big shame it's a keychain. *thinks of his keychains of Joker and bikini Leia* Awww...... Nice review. Shakar Edited July 10, 2009 by Shakar Quote
fallentomato Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 I got mine this week and immediately took it apart. I took a picture so you can all see exactly where the chroming ends. I'm pretty happy with the figure, the head especially I can see being very useful... I decided to put together a little shiny scene, so ipulled together my other chrome gold pieces. I had to go pearl gold for the hands/hooks, but at least they're not tan anymore! Quote
paul_delahaye Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 UK Lego shops are also giving this away with orders over £60 GBP I too noticed inside the leg is not chromed on one side, strangely though, I got 2 figures as I spend £120 and the opposite legs were not chromed? You would think they would all be chromed in the same way? Paul Quote
