Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Does it have to be STAR WARS realated? Quote
KimT Posted July 3, 2009 Author Posted July 3, 2009 Did I say it had to be Star Wars related? Read the simple rules No it doesn't have to be SW related. All it needs is what I stated in the raffle post. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Okay. I'll be Mocing as soon as possible Quote
ILikePi Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) What does "no overhang" mean? EDIT: So we can make any type of viginette we want (does it even have to have anything chrome in it?)? Edited July 4, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
Modulex Guy Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Does it have to have only chrome? or can we include all colors of chrome LEGO like gold, green, etc? Quote
The Alchemyst Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Do we need Chrome in our vig? Do we need a MF in our vig? Thanks! [-TA-] Quote
Oky Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Are you going to be picky about the eligibility of the entries? For example, are you going to disqualify entries that don't have enough M's and/or O's in the title? Wasn't it obvious I would post in this topic? Quote

It is mandatory for you to have at least eleventy billion Os and Ms in each word. (As you can see, I miss Kids Next Door. ) 2. No, that was the last thing on my mind. I have questions. Is it the rarer I get, the better entry I have? Are 1x1 cones allowed to represent chrome eggs? Edited July 4, 2009 by YG-49 Quote
LegoLyons Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 What does "no overhang" mean? Yeah, what does this mean? Surely some bricks as long as studs not showing can hang a little? No?. =-) Quote
YG-49 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Yeah, what does this mean? Surely some bricks as long as studs not showing can hang a little? No?. =-) It means the pieces can't hang over the 8x8. Though I think minifig heads are an exception because they are rounder than normal studs. Edited July 4, 2009 by YG-49 Quote

fenris Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 i know, it's not a vignette, but it's still "i love chrome"... http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3967834 Quote
Millacol88 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 The rules say that it must be built on an 8x8 base. Quote
KimT Posted July 4, 2009 Author Posted July 4, 2009 I'll allow a little overhang - I just don't want an 8x8 base with a 100x100 model on top of it. If you know what I mean? All entries so far are looking good. Oh yeah and it's just one entry per member of course. Oky Wan Kenobi - say hello to the Diagonah from me Quote

Millacol88 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 That's a very nice vignette, but please read these tutorials on how to resize images. The maximum size for images is 800 x 600. 640 x 480 is the preferred size. Quote
Millacol88 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 @ Pedro: That's an amazing brick-built grievous. But why does he have flowers? Quote
