fenris Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Hi all, I hope this is the right place to post this: as I now collect Lego Star Wars, i want to get rid of my Pirates collection... I would trade aginst LSW from the old episodes (4-6) or sell... I don't want to put it on Ebay, i prefer forums, because thats where the real collectors trade (..and i got to overbidden and frustrated too often on Ebay) UPDATE 13.07.09: marked red = gone Edited July 13, 2009 by fenris Quote
Admiral M Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Nice collection! However, I believe that it is supposed to be posted in the "buy, sell, and trade" forum. and, If I'm not mistaken, you need to be a frequent visitor with over 100 posts to use it. If I could buy some of it, I'd probably like that Eldorado Fortress baseplate, and maybe a handful of bluecoats, and some pirates. But this isn't the place for trading Quote

Till i got 100 posts it's gonna be a while... any idea of how much i could get? thx Edited July 4, 2009 by fenris Quote
Admiral M Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Bluecoats are generally $4 each, If they have a shako then they're $6-8 per soldier. Governors are $10 apiece. Pirates are less expensive, $3 for redbeard. There are many more pirates, so you can check the prices here. Edited July 4, 2009 by Admiral M Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 4, 2009 Governor Posted July 4, 2009 I hope this is the right place to post this: Eurobricks generally prefers recently joined members don't post trades or sales anywhere, as it's a privilege reserved for members who've been around long enough to be known within the community. This thread may need to be closed but I'll talk with other Moderators and Administrators to see if they're feeling lenient. Quote

Perhaps, if it is put on ebay, it can have a special place in the ebay sales thread? Quote

Thank you very much. As i said, i didn't know this (but i totally agree with this seniority system - keeps the real users from a lot of spam). I' very active in Lego Star Wars forums, but I wanted to place this in a spot where people interessted in Lego Pirates ca read it (and preferably somewhere more personal than EBAY).. In case it's not possible, I would put it on EBAY and inform you... ps: while reading this forum I refall in love with pirates... pps: i found all the parts for Lego 6285 Pirate Black Seas Barracuda 6274 and 6276 Eldorado Fortress... they should be complete... not only the parts on the picture... Sir Wellington Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 The 4504 One, Not all the pieces are with it and I don't have the minifigures except one clone trooper hat. Quote

Actually it's only 10 posts now and he's already almost there! I can move this if you like, but it's cool here as well... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 6, 2009 Governor Posted July 6, 2009 Actually, it's good for Pirate Forum business as Pirate LEGO fans get excited at seeing big armies. Look at them all jump up and down for joy. It's almost like a Mexican Wave. Special people can click here to discover my intended fate for this thread. :pir-skull: Quote

Shadows Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 That's almost exactly my pre-dark ages collection, except you have a couple of extra copies of Harbor Sentry and are missing Forbidden Island. It's a very nice grouping, though shipping might be costly outside of Europe, sadly. Good luck! Quote
fenris Posted July 6, 2009 Author Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) hi there, thx for not throwing me and my thread in the virtual dungeon i'm sorry, but i'm not interested in the millenium falcon... and yes: i think it's the classic pirates collection from a boy born 1980... my friend exactly had the same.. so together there have been lots of really nice battles... i've got one harbour sentry and had the pirate island too... but one was glued (a crime against lego - but i bougth it like that fpr 50% off and the other is lost in the ocean of past times...)
